Abstract:
An attachment structure of a slide rail cover for covering a slide rail fixed to a side of a vehicle body from the outside to the vehicle body, has a main body cover including a slide rail attachment portion and a vehicle body attachment portion, the slide rail attachment portion being adapted to support the main body cover with rigidity, and the vehicle body attachment portion being adapted to regulate the position of the main body cover in vertical and lateral directions. The position of at least one of the vehicle body attachment portion and the slide rail attachment portion is regulated in a forward or rearward direction of the main body cover.
Abstract:
A window regulator and method for assembling a vehicle door incorporating it are provided. The method comprises inserting the screw thread of a screw with two heads into the screw thread of a plate secured to an outer panel of the door. The screw passes through an oblong hole in a lug substantially perpendicular to a slider guide of a window regulator rail. The transverse position of the rail with respect to the screw is adjusted. The screw is tightened using its upper head. The screw is loosened later using the lower screw head. The adjustment of the transverse position of the rail is then tweaked and the screw is tightened again using the lower screw head. This makes assembling and adjusting the transverse position of a window in a vehicle door easier.
Abstract:
Guide track assemblies for upward acting doors include identical vertical and horizontal linear track sections and a curvilinear transition track section. The linear track sections include spaced-apart elongated slots formed at acute angles with respect to the longitudinal extent of the track sections for cooperation with retainer members mounted on angle-shaped jamb brackets. A header bracket also includes one or more retainer members thereon for disposition in similar elongated slots formed in the curvilinear track section. The linear track sections fit in telescoping relationship within enlarged end portions of the curvilinear track section. The configurations of the header brackets, jamb brackets and track sections facilitate quick assembly and easy positional adjustment of the track sections with respect to a door opening covered by a door guided by the track assemblies.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a window regulator of an automobile vehicle quarter panel, which comprises a support plate having two cam grooves substantially offset in an oblique direction, a mobile carrier supporting a windowpane guided by the cam grooves, a cable winding drum connected to the mobile carrier by an upper cable passing over an upper return pulley and by a lower cable passing over a lower return pulley. The lower return pulley is arranged in height between the height of the lower ends of the two cam grooves. This allows the total height of the support plate to be decreased.
Abstract:
A vehicle door for a vehicle comprises an outer door panel, an inner door panel formed with an aperture, a plastic panel to which functional devices of the vehicle door and door parts are installed and which is installed to the inner door panel to close up the aperture of the inner door panel, and an impact absorbing member formed as a part integral with the plastic panel or fixedly secured to the plastic panel which absorbs an impact against the plastic panel upon an occurrence of a side crash of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A vehicle door trimming member has a rigid carrier member that supports a rail. The rail is part of a window guide, for guiding a window when it is being rolled up or down. The rail is in two parts, with a latch connector for the door latch connected to the two parts. The door latch has two positions, a first preassembly position and a second operating position.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a guide track for a movable windowpane, especially for a retractable windowpane of a motor vehicle, with at least one guide element for the windowpane displaceable along the guide track. In order to create a guide track with compact installation dimensions and at the same time a sufficient length for guiding the windowpane during its movement, it is proposed that the guide track for movement of the windowpane be retractable at least on one side.
Abstract:
The fixing device which serves for retaining a rail (1), in particular a running or guide rail, has a strip (2) which is provided with an angular profile and can be connected with little outlay on one side to a wall (9) and on the other side to a rail (1). The strip (2) has two limbs (21; 22) which are provided for holding the rail (1), the first limb (21) of which is provided with openings (23) for the passing through of fixing screws (24) which can be connected to the wall (9), and the second limb (22) of which is provided with a T-profile-shaped longitudinal slot (25) which is open towards the rail (1) and serves for holding and for retaining a locking element (3) which preferably has a thread (31) for a mounting screw (32) which can be connected to the rail (1), or is connected fixedly to said mounting screw.
Abstract:
A vehicle door includes an outer door panel, an inner door panel formed with an aperture and a plastic mounting panel to which functional devices of the vehicle door and door parts are installed and which is installed to the inner door panel to enclose the aperture thereof, the mounting panel having a plastic panel, a plastic structural part appendant to the plastic panel, and a breakable joint connecting the plastic structural part to the plastic panel as one whole piece. The structural part is separated from the plastic panel by breaking away the joint from the plastic panel and installed to the plastic panel after having installed the plastic panel to the vehicle door in order to cover an access opening which provides access to the interior of the vehicle door for assembling for example an exterior door handle and window glass.
Abstract:
A process for improving sliding qualities of a slide contact or carriage on at least one rail, and a device for implementing this process. The carriage includes a part intended to be moved along the rail. A section (4) shaped to conform to the rail is placed on the surface of the rail, closely following the contour thereof and smoothing out irregularities or deformations of the rail.
