Abstract: A spring forming device in which the steel wire can be continuously cut off without stopping the feeding of the steel wire in cutting, and in which the steel wire can be uniformly heated, is provided. The spring forming device has a wire supplying mechanism for supplying a steel wire using a plurality of feeding rollers, a heating mechanism for heating the steel wire, a coiling mechanism for forming in a coil state the heated steel wire, and a cutting mechanism for cutting the steel wire coiled at a given number of turns off the steel wire remained backward. A cutting blade of the cutting mechanism follows tracks having a speed Va that moves to the receiving blade and a speed Vc that moves in an axial direction of the coiled steel wire, in cutting of the steel wire.

Abstract: An annular reference surface is formed around a through-hole of an eye portion. A distal-end-side curved portion is formed at a first corner portion, on an outer side of the annular reference surface. The thickness of the distal-end-side curved portion is reduced in a range of a length from the first flat surface toward the distal end surface. A hole-side curved portion whose thickness is reduced toward an inner surface of the through-hole is formed at a second corner portion, on an inner side of the annular reference surface. The length of the hole-side curved portion is less than the length of the distal-end-side curved portion. The hole-side curved portion is curved with a greater curvature than that of the distal-end-side curved portion.

Abstract: A heater unit having high in-plane temperature uniformity is provided. A heater unit includes a first heater part, a second heater part controlled independently of the first heater part, a base arranged with a groove in a region between the first heater part and the second heater part, and a cover part arranged at an opening end of the groove and providing a closed space with the groove. In addition, an insulating layer covering the first heater part and the second heater part, and an electrostatic chuck attached to the base via the insulating layer may be further included. In addition, the closed space provided by the cover part and the groove may be a vacuum.

Abstract: A stabilizer includes a stabilizer main body, and eyes formed on both ends of the stabilizer main body. Through-holes are formed in fastening surfaces of the eyes, respectively. The stabilizer main body is covered with a main body coating film. The eye is covered with an eye coating film whose thickness is less than a thickness of the main body coating film. An inner surface of the through-hole is covered with an inner surface coating film. An incomplete coating portion is formed at a part of the inner surface of the through-hole in a circumferential direction. The incomplete coating portion is located on an extension of a straight line connecting a center of the through-hole and the center of gravity of the stabilizer main body in a side view of the stabilizer main body.

The steel for springs contains C: more than 0.45 mass % and less than 0.65 mass %, Si: 0.15 mass % or more and 0.70 mass % or less, Mn: 0.10 mass % or more and 1.00 mass % or less, Cr: 0.20 mass % or more and 1.50 mass % or less, P: 0.025 mass % or less, S: 0.025 mass % or less, O: 0.0015 mass % or less, Sb: 0.010 mass % or more and less than 0.030 mass %, and Sn: 0.010 mass % or more and 0.030 mass % or less, under predetermined conditions.

Abstract: A coil spring includes a wire formed of spring steel shaped to be helical, and is compressed between an upper spring seat and a lower spring seat. The coil spring includes an upper portion and a lower portion. A positive pitch winding end portion is formed on the upper portion of the coil spring. A terminal-point-strong-abutting-portion is formed at a distal end of the winding end portion. The terminal-point-strong-abutting-portion is in contact with the upper spring seat at one point at a position deviated to an inner side of a vehicle with respect to a coil central axis. On the lower portion of the coil spring, an end turn portion which contacts the lower spring seat is formed at a position deviated to an outer side of the vehicle.

Abstract: A method for producing a stabilizer and a heating device allows the entirety of a hollow member to be uniformly heated to a temperature necessary for heat treatment, even in a case in which a cross section varying hollow member is used as the starting material. In a preliminary heating process, energizing heating is performed between electrodes, which are arranged at cross section varying parts at both ends of large cross sectional area part, which can be heated. In an entire heating process, by performing energizing heating between electrodes, which are arranged at both ends of the cross section varying hollow member, the latter can be heated. In the preliminary heating process, it is desirable to perform energization heating at a part having a cross sectional area ratio of 90% or more with respect to the part having a large cross sectional area in the cross section varying part.

Abstract: In a power seat operation device, a cam portion formed at a dial base has valleys and peaks that are alternately arranged in a row along a rotation direction of a dial so as to form an undulation in a radial direction. A slider is supported by the dial so as to be slidable in the radial direction. The slider is abutted against the cam portion by biasing force from a roller spring and fits into one out of the valleys so as to retain the dial at one of the rotary positions. During rotational operation of the dial, the slider crosses over at least one out of the peaks while elastically deforming the roller spring and sliding with respect to the dial.
