Abstract: Technology is disclosed for a user equipment (UE) operable for wake-up signal (WUS) communication in a fifth generation (5G) new radio (NR) network. The UE can be configured to: identify a resource set for a WUS with a repetition level, wherein: the resource set for the WUS includes a mapping of the WUS that associates the WUS with one or more physical resource blocks and one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, and the repetition level identifies a number of base sequences for the WUS in the resource set; and switch to a network access mode (NAM) from a power saving mode (PSM) based on a detection of the WUS in the resource set.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus for determining time-domain PRACH resources in wireless communication. A New Radio (NR) Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) configuration comprising an indication of a time-domain PRACH resource type to determine when the UE is allowed to transmit a PRACH preamble and a type of preamble format may be received. Additionally, a PRACH resource based on the received PRACH configuration to transmit the PRACH preamble, wherein the PRACH resource includes RACH resource occasions (ROs) with gaps in between may be determined. Thereafter, a PRACH procedure may be initiated by transmitting the PRACH preamble on a RO based on the determined PRACH resource to a base station (BS).

In an example, a determination is made about whether a scheduled SRS transmission impacts a scheduled DL reception given the SRS Tx antenna port switching. If so, the SRS transmission and/or the DL reception are changed. In a further example, the UE can supports an SRS TA capability in conjunction with the SRS Tx antenna port switching capability. In this example, SRS TA can be applied to a scheduled SRS transmission.

Downlink control information (DCI) is received from the BS including an indication of at least one TPMI from the TPMI list based on the index. Uplink data is transmitted to the BS on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the at least one TPMI.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for performing uplink transmissions during a dual active protocol stack handover. A wireless device may determine a propagation delay between the wireless device and each of a source cell and a target cell of a dual active protocol stack handover by the wireless device. The wireless device may provide an indication to the source cell of the propagation delay between the wireless device and the source cell, the propagation delay between the wireless device and the target cell, and a propagation delay difference handling capability of the wireless device. The cellular base station that provides the source cell may determine a time division multiplexing pattern for uplink communication for the wireless device during the dual active protocol stack handover based at least in part on the information provided by the wireless device.

Abstract: Technology for an eNodeB to communicate with a user equipment (UE) using a self-contained time division duplex (TDD) subframe within a wireless communication network is disclosed. The eNodeB can process, for transmission to the UE, a DL self-contained time division duplex (TDD) subframe comprising an extended physical downlink shared channel (xPDSCH), an extended physical downlink control channel (xPDCCH), a downlink (DL) spacing signal, and a guard period, wherein the xPDSCH, the xPDCCH, the DL spacing signal, and the guard time are located within the DL self-contained TDD subframe prior to an extended physical uplink control channel (xPUCCH). The eNodeB can process, an uplink (UL) self-contained TDD subframe, received from the UE, having a UL spacing signal located after an extended physical uplink shared channel (xPUSCH).
