    Abstract: An image sensor is provided. The image sensor includes: a pixel array of pixels arranged in a row and column directions. A first pixel provided in a first row of the pixel array includes a first sub-pixel connected with a first metal line, a second sub-pixel connected with a second metal line, a third sub-pixel connected with a third metal line, and a fourth sub-pixel connected with a fourth metal line. When a read-out operation is performed on the first pixel, signals applied to the first through fourth metal lines are sequentially enabled. Based on the applied signals, at least a part of charges accumulated in the first through fourth sub-pixels is diffused to a first floating diffusion node. The first sub-pixel and the third sub-pixel are adjacent in the column direction, and the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel are adjacent in the row direction.

    Abstract: A display driving circuit is provided. The circuit drives a display panel that includes data lines, sensing lines, and sub-pixels connected to the data lines and the sensing lines. The display driving circuit includes a data driver integrated circuit that drives the data lines. The data driver integrated circuit includes a driving block and a sensing block. The driving block includes plural digital-analog converters (DACs) each performing digital-analog conversion with respect to received sub-pixel data to generate output voltages and provide the output voltages of the DACs to the data lines. The sensing block measures grayscale voltages output from the DACs in a first operation mode and measures pixel voltages of the sub-pixels received from the sensing lines in a second operation mode.

    Abstract: Hearing management, using a portable device or integrated portable devices, can include generating during a hearing diagnostics phase an audiogram based on responses of a user to signals conveyed to the user. In response to detecting ambient noises during the hearing diagnostics phase, noise cancellation can be performed to cancel the ambient noises in conjunction with conveying the signals to the user. During a hearing enhancement phase, sounds can be captured with the portable device. The captured sounds can be enhanced in real-time during the hearing enhancement phase by amplifying select frequencies of the captured sounds using signal gain. The frequencies can be selected, and the signal gain determined based on the audiogram. The captured sounds, now enhanced, can be conveyed to the user as frequency-enhanced sounds.
