A first source element resonates in response to excitation from the first source conductor. A second resonant source element resonates in response to excitation from the first source conductor. A second resonant load element resonates at the second resonant frequency in response to excitation from the second resonant source element. The second resonant load element generates a fluctuating field when resonating. A first load element generates a first current applied to a first load in response to resonance in the first resonant load element and the second resonant load element.

    摘要: A diffusion sampler includes an elongated tubular support structure, a top end cap, a bottom end cap, a first coupling device, at least a first membrane and a reservoir mechanism. The support structure has an outer wall that defines an interior space therein. The outer wall defines a plurality of openings. A membrane is disposed around the outer wall at least in the area of the upper portion of the support structure and is configured to allow at least one first selected type of molecule to pass therethrough. A reservoir mechanism is coupled to a bottom portion of the support structure and is configured to define a reservoir in the lower portion of the support structure that prevents a selected liquid from flowing out of the lower portion of the support structure.

The second plasmonic antenna generates a second surface plasmon polariton wave signal corresponding to the electromagnetic signal. The plasmonic receiver generates a received signal corresponding to the second surface plasmon polariton wave signal. The signal detector detects the received signal.

    摘要: A generator for harvesting energy from water in motion includes a sheet of a hydrophobic material, having a first side and an opposite second side, that is triboelectrically more negative than water. A first electrode sheet is disposed on the second side of the sheet of a hydrophobic material. A second electrode sheet is disposed on the second side of the sheet of a hydrophobic material and is spaced apart from the first electrode sheet. Movement of the water across the first side induces an electrical potential imbalance between the first electrode sheet and the second electrode sheet.

    摘要: In a countermeasures control interface for use in deploying countermeasures in response to user commands, which are deployed from a first countermeasure dispenser that deploys a first type of countermeasure and a second countermeasure dispenser that deploys a second type of countermeasure different from the first type. A user interface receives user commands regarding countermeasures deployment and includes a display that shows a user-selectable image formats. At least one of the user-selectable image formats includes a graphic representation of a loadout of the first countermeasure dispenser and the second countermeasure dispenser, as well as a graphical representation of currently-available countermeasures deployment options. The user interface also receives input regarding a user countermeasure deployment choice and generates a signal corresponding to the countermeasure deployment choice. An electronic circuit controls the display and generates the user-selectable image formats, receives the countermeasure deployment choice from the user interface and activates the countermeasure dispensers.

    摘要: In a method for recycling energy from stairs, a step platform is moveable between an upper and lower position. An energy storage device, coupled to the platform, stores energy when a downward force is applied thereto, causing the step platform to move to the lower position. The energy storage device (also releases stored energy as the step platform moves from to the upper position. A controllable locking mechanism (locks the step platform in the lower position when the downward force has caused the step platform to move into the lower position. A sensor determines when a downward force has been applied to the next higher step platform. A controller signals the controllable locking mechanism to unlock the step platform when the step platform is in the lower position, and when the downward force has been applied to the next higher step platform.

A second exterior module defines a second interior space for conducting business activities therein, including an interior elongated side that opens to facilitate interaction between the customers and employees. A conveyance mechanism moves the first exterior module and the second exterior module between a first position and a second position to prevent access to the first interior space and to the second interior space while in the first position and to provide access to the first interior space and to the second interior space while in the second position.
