Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for performing collision resolution in a two-step random access channel (RACH) process. In such a process, an MsgA PUSCH signal and a grant based PUSCH signal may collide. When such a collision is detected, either the MsgA PUSCH signal or the grant based PUSCh signal are dropped. The other of the two signals is then transmitted. The determination regarding which signal to drop can be based on a set of rules stored in memory.

Abstract: Systems and processes are disclosed for controlling television user interactions using a virtual assistant. In an example process, a virtual assistant can interact with a television set-top box to control content shown on a television display. Speech input for the virtual assistant can be received from a device with a microphone. The speech input can comprise a query associated with content shown on the television display. A user intent of the query can be determined based on one or more of the content shown on the television display and a viewing history of media content. A result of the query can be caused to be displayed based on the determined user intent.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content delivery service. A media content provider includes a data store for storing and serving media content to subscribers. The media content provider continually records and or otherwise stores video and audio content from around the world. Stored content will generally correspond to a large number of other media content providers, such as cable television operators, Internet based media content providers, television networks, and so on. Subscribers to the media provider interact with the media content provider via hardware and/or software mechanisms either provided by the media content provider or conforming to specifications of the media content provider. Based on these subscriber's subscriptions to the other content providers, the subscribers will have viewing, listening, or application execution privileges for content maintained in the data store. Content of a subscriber corresponding to multiple video content providers is maintained and served by a single provider.

Abstract: Devices, methods, and non-transitory program storage devices are disclosed herein to: obtain, at a first electronic device, one more images captured by a first image capture device; crop a first portion of a first image of the one or more images, e.g., comprising a face of a human subject; apply a distortion correction operation to the cropped first portion; and then crop a second portion of the first image, wherein the second portion comprises a portion of a surface (e.g., a desktop or document) in the first image; apply a distortion correction operation to the cropped second portion; and transmit the distortion-corrected first and second portions to a second electronic device, e.g., after compositing the first and second portions into an output image to be transmitted. The first image capture device may be integrated into the first electronic device, or it may be connected in a wired or wireless fashion.

Other approaches describe the modification of the evaluation period based on the particulars of the satellites involved, and the procedure for making those modifications. In making these modifications, user-equipment (UE)-specific margins are also considered. In addition, modifications to the procedure for higher priority cell search are also described when non-terrestrial wireless communication networks are involved.

Abstract: Techniques to reduce signal interference between wired signals communicated within an electronic device and wireless signals transmitted to or received from antennas of the electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device includes an interposer with an inner fence and an outer fence having offset gaps to prevent a pathway otherwise formed by overlapping tabs, where the pathway allows noise leakage from the wired signals. In some embodiments, the electronic device (e.g., in a main logic board package) includes a ground fencing of ground vias to prevent the noise leakage from harmonics associated with signal vias communicating the wired signals. The spacing between the ground vias is based on frequencies of signals that the ground vias are intended to block.
