Abstract:
A projection-type display apparatus and a display method thereof are disclosed, the projection-type display apparatus including a coated portion which is formed on a surface of a substrate, and which scans a video onto a screen, and a patterned portion which is formed on another surface of the substrate in a serrated pattern, wherein the serrated pattern is formed on the substrate according to the surface area of the patterned portion and the depth of the serrated pattern. A serrated pattern is formed on a substrate forming a reflective portion to reflect a video on a screen, so the cooling surface area of the substrate is increased, thereby compensating for distortions in video scanned onto the screen.
Abstract:
A system and method for managing information of a mobile terminal automatically generates a link to related information in association with one or more separate function databases in the mobile terminal. All information stored in each function database is also stored in a link database to allow other functions to refer to them. When a certain function is used, its related information is automatically searched for in the link database. If related information exists, a hyperlink to the related information is automatically generated, so that a user can simply use the related information as necessary.

Abstract:
A nonlinear optical modulator includes a resonator having an input mirror and an output mirror; a gain medium provided between the input mirror and the output mirror which generates a fundamental wave using light; a nonlinear material provided between the gain medium and the output mirror which generates a predetermined harmonic wave from the fundamental wave; a thermostat that controls temperature of the nonlinear material; and an electric field generator that applies an electric field to the nonlinear material.
Abstract:
A magnetron comprises an anode, a cathode disposed at a center of the anode, a plurality of vanes radially protruding from an inner surface of the anode towards the cathode, and an upper end shield and a lower end shield respectively coupled to an upper end and a lower end of the cathode so that a length of an effective heating portion of the cathode may be less than a height of the vane. A heating power for the cathode is reduced thus to decrease an input power for the same output, thereby enhancing an efficiency of the magnetron
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a capacitor for a magnetron. The capacitor has dielectric members, which have a converging angle of less than 180° defined between lines extending from both sides of each dielectric member formed between corresponding ends of inner and outer electrodes of the dielectric member. The capacitor is reduced in size while having enhanced capacitance, thereby reducing a manufacturing time. The capacitor also has central conductors having enlarged portions larger than the inner electrode, thereby further enhancing the capacitance.
Abstract:
A high pressure condenser for a magnetron, in which a pair of dielectric ceramics having an arch shape are separated from each other, central conductors are connected to internal peripheries of the dielectric ceramics, and a ground metal is connected to external peripheries of the dielectric ceramics, thereby not requiring any additional structure for connecting the dielectric ceramics and the central conductors, simplifying the structures of the central conductors, and reducing the quantity of the dielectric ceramics needed in proportion to the separation interval between the dielectric ceramics.
Abstract:
Provided is a projection television TV having a digital micro mirror device (DMD) which includes micro-mirrors to reflect light from a light source according to an ‘on’ or ‘off’ state of the micro mirrors. An illuminating block provides light to the DMD in a uniform optical intensity. A projecting block projects the light reflected from the DMD onto a screen. The projection TV features a projection aperture positioned in the projecting block or the illuminating block arranged perpendicularly to an optical axis. The projection aperture forms an optical path and includes projection areas to pass the light and blocking areas to block the light. The projection area and the blocking area are formed on a cross section of the light with a predetermined space.
Abstract:
