    摘要: An inductive filter for a magnetron power supply lead comprises an electrically insulating tube; a power lead located partially within the electrically insulating tube, and coaxial therewith, for supplying power from a magnetron power supply to a magnetron, a first core of a first magnetic material and a second core of a second magnetic material coaxially located on the electrically insulating tube; an insulating disc of same external diameter as the first core and the second core and coaxially located on the electrically insulating tube between the first core and the second core. The inductive filter is arranged to filter noise of a first frequency band and noise of a second, different, frequency band different from being transmitted along the power lead and to absorb a predetermined transient voltage from being transmitted along the power lead.

    摘要: A magnetron filter apparatus having a bottom box type filter case which is engaged and fixed with a cathode input side of a magnetron bulb and provided with a cover. A transformer which supplies a cathode current to the magnetron is contained in the filter case and a filter is contained in the filter case for preventing leakage of unwanted electromagnetic waves. Further, an insulation box in which the transformer is embedded and which is provided with integrally formed cylindrical portions through which lead wires to a primary winding of the transformer is disposed in the filter case. The insulation box is positioned by insertion of the cylindrical portions thereof into holes formed in a wall of the filter case.

    摘要: A high frequency electromagnetic energy absorber disposed near a cathode holder in an evacuated envelope of a magnetron so as to attenuate high frequency noise leaking through the cathode terminal of the magnetron. The absorber is in thermal contact with a member connected to the anode cylinder of the tube to conduct heat generated in the tube, whereby overheating of the tube can be prevented. By combining the absorber with another high frequency attenuating element, the attenuating effect can be increased.

    摘要: A magnetron includes a high frequency generating source having an anode and a cathode, two power supply conductors for supplying electric power to the cathode of the high frequency generating source, filter circuits inserted in the power supply conductors for damping and suppressing the high frequency components leaking through the power supply conductors and a shield box covering the two power supply conductors and two filter circuits. Each of the filter circuits includes a capacitor and a choke which is comprised of an coreless type inductor made of coreless coil and a core type inductor made of ferrite-cored coil. The coreless type inductors of two filter circuits connected to the respective different power supply conductors are different each other in inductance.

    摘要: A microwave electron beam tube having a high-frequency interaction section insulated from the collector section of the tube by a gap across which the electron beam passes, the collector being surrounded by water contained in a boiler. The gap is shunted by a capacitor of solid material with its electrodes outside the evacuated envelope of the tube. The boiler is mechanically and electrically connected to a metal flange and a further flange is electrically and mechanically connected to the collector. Inserted between the two flanges is a dielectric spacer which offers a high impedance to what would otherwise be large high-frequency current flowing between the two flanges thus reducing radiation from the boiler to a negligible level.
