    Abstract: An electronic device may include communications circuitry, sensing circuitry, and a set of antennas having first and second feeds for covering different polarizations. The communications circuitry may transmit signals with a first polarization using each of the antennas and may concurrently transmit signals with a second polarization using all but a selected one of the antennas. The sensing circuitry may concurrently transmit sensing signals with the first polarization using one of the antennas and may receive sensing signals with the second polarization using the selected antenna. The sensing signals may include chirp signals generated to include muted periods that correspond to a range of frequencies that overlap frequencies at which the wireless circuitry is subject to radio-frequency interference. This may allow for concurrent wireless communications and sensing operations without interference between the communications circuitry and the sensing circuitry.

A radio resource control (RRC) UL gap configuration for transmission to the UE may be encoded. The RRC UL gap configuration may include configuration information associated with at least one of a periodicity, offset, or length. Measurement information received from the UE may be decoded. The measurement information may include at least one of a power headroom value, a PCMAX,f,c value, or a P value. Based on the power headroom value, the PCMAX,f,c value, or the P value, the UL gap configuration may be activated by encoding a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC CE) for transmission to the UE.

    Abstract: A first device may transmit a first symbol for a second device and a second symbol for a third device. The first device may generate a first dictionary and a second dictionary that satisfy a complementary rule. The first device may modulate the first symbol onto an entry from the first dictionary to produce first modulated data and may modulate the second symbol onto an entry from the second dictionary to produce second modulated data. The first device may generate a third symbol as a joint modulation of the first and second modulated data and may transmit the third symbol using a resource element. The second device may decode the third symbol based on the first dictionary to recover the first symbol. The third device may decode the third symbol based on the second dictionary to recover the second symbol. Privacy may be maintained between the second and third devices.
