摘要: A method for providing audio-only recording is disclosed. According to the method, a combined video stream and an audio stream are received from a source. The audio stream is digitized, if in analog form. The digitized audio stream is compressed using an audio encoding engine. The encoded audio stream is saved in a storage device. The storage device can be local or on a network. In the case of the input A/V signal being a multiplexed and compressed digital signal, the audio segment(s) are separated using a demultiplexer and saved in a storage device. The encoding format of the stored audio data follows that of the original audio data embedded in the multiplexed A/V stream. To store the audio data in a different encoded format, the audio data is first decoded using an appropriate audio decoder and then re-encoded in the desired encoding format. Alternatively, an audio transcoder can be used to store the audio data in the desired encoding format.

摘要: A method is provided of establishing or releasing a radio connection between a first mobile user station and a first cell for wireless telecommunications during a call with the first mobile user station. This is both whilst the call continues and dependent upon at least one predetermined criterion being met. This occurs in a network for wireless telecommunications handling calls with various data rates to mobile user stations such that some of the mobile user stations at a time have multiple radio connections to the network via multiple cells. A pilot signal is sent between the first cell and the first mobile user station. Received signal quality of the pilot signal between the first cell and the first mobile user station is detected. At least one predetermined criterion is selected dependent upon data rate of the call, and if it is determining that said signal quality of the pilot signal meets said at least one predetermined criterion, said radio connection is released or established.

摘要: According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a method for secure near field communication (NFC) of a non-secure memory element payload. The method includes receiving, at an NFC enabled mobile device and from a content provider, a payload. The method also includes storing the received payload in a non-secure memory element of the NFC enabled mobile device. The method further includes transferring the stored payload from the non-secure memory element of the NFC enabled mobile device to a secure memory element of the NFC enabled mobile device, wherein transferring the stored payload includes loading the stored payload into a secure reloadable payload instance. The method further includes establishing a NFC link between the NFC enabled mobile device and an NFC reader. The method further includes communicating, via the NFC link, the transferred payload from the secure reloadable payload instance to the NFC reader.

摘要: Agents in a contact center are grouped dynamically by defining performance metrics against which agents are to be judged, and generating an evaluation score for each of a number of agents by comparing their actual performance data to the defined performance metrics. Agents are assigned to the groups based on their performance scores. This provides the ability to generate reports and route contacts according to actual agent performance judged relative to user-specified performance metrics. The sizes of groups can be adjusted in real time to take account of actual or anticipated levels of contacts with different requirements, and agents can be reallocated among the resized groups on the fly based on the ranking of their evaluation scores.
