A variable-current trans-impedance amplifier (TIA) for an ultrasound device is described. The TIA may be coupled to an ultrasonic transducer to amplify an output signal of the ultrasonic transducer representing an ultrasound signal received by the ultrasonic transducer. During acquisition of the ultrasound signal by the ultrasonic transducer, one or more current sources in the TIA may be varied. The variable-current trans-impedance amplifier may include multiple stages, including a first stage having N-P transistor pairs configured to receive an input signal and produce a single-ended amplified signal.

Apparatus and method for detecting unauthorized tampering with a data storage device having a housing and a memory. A first identifier value is stored on an external surface of the housing and a second identifier value is stored within the memory. The first and second identifier values are combined in a predetermined order to form a combined identifier value for which a digital signature is generated using a private key, and the digital signature is stored on the storage device. The digital signature, the first and second identifier values, and one or more dummy identification values are retrieved from the storage device and stored in a memory of a verification device, which combines the retrieved first and second identifier values in the predetermined order to generate a retrieved combined identifier value. The storage device is authenticated using the retrieved combined identifier value, the digital signature and a public key.

The method includes for the input stereo image, generating, based on a first relevant feature, rule or model of the stereo image, at least a first first-level structure map, each of the first first-level structure maps being generated based on an individual tolerance level of the first relevant feature, rule or model, and each of the first first-level structure maps including the target at an individual first division level; and at least partly integrating the first first-level structure maps and analyzing the target in the stereo image, to obtain a structure map of a first-level target analysis result including the target.

A switching mode power supply (SMPS) includes a transformer having a primary winding for coupling to an input power source, a secondary winding for providing an output voltage of the SMPS, and an auxiliary winding. The SMPS also has a power transistor coupled to the primary winding and a primary side control circuit coupled to the auxiliary winding and the power transistor. The primary side control circuit is configured to regulate the output of the SMPS by controlling the power switch in response to a feedback voltage signal that is representative of an output of the SMPS. The SMPs also has a secondary-side control circuit coupled to the secondary winding and being configured to cause the output voltage of the SMPS to discharge when the output voltage of the SMPS is higher than a first reference voltage.

The present invention more than doubles operation time of a smart ODN management system, extends battery life of the whole system when a mobile power supply provides power for the system, shortens a time span taken by the system to respond to port changes, and improves operation efficiency of the system.

A switching mode power supply (SMPS) includes a power transistor coupled to the primary winding of transformer and a resistor coupled between the input power source and a control terminal of the power transistor for triggering a primary current flow through the power transistor for providing startup power. A primary side control circuit is configured to regulate the output of the SMPS. A secondary side control circuit is coupled to the secondary winding and being configured to provide a first electrical signal to the secondary winding when an output voltage of the SMPS is less than a first reference voltage, whereupon an awakening signal is induced in the auxiliary winding and causes the primary side control circuit to provide a turn-on signal to the power transistor. The primary side control circuit is configured to enter a standby mode or a normal operating mode in response to the awakening signal.
