    Abstract: This application discloses a measurement method for a terminal device, including: receiving measurement configuration information; and measuring, in m measurement windows in a measurement gap based on the measurement configuration information, m groups of to-be-measured signals sent by a network device. Correspondingly, this application also describes a measurement configuration method, a terminal device, and a network device. According to an example implementation, the terminal device discontinuously performs measurement in the measurement windows in the measurement gap, and transmits data by using an interval between the measurement windows, to implement discontinuous measurement in the measurement gap, and further reduce a data transmission delay.

The method includes: sending, by a network device in each transmission subwindow corresponding to a broadcast signal, the broadcast signal to user equipment by using a different antenna port, where the transmission subwindow is obtained by dividing, based on preset subwindow information, a transmission window corresponding to the broadcast signal; and determining, by the UE, a transmission subwindow in which a downlink transmit beam is located; and receiving the broadcast signal in a time in which the transmission subwindow is located, where the time in which the transmission subwindow is located is calculated based on the pre-obtained subwindow information.

    Abstract: This application discloses a communication method and a device, and the method includes: sending, by a first base station, a first request message, where the first request message is used to request one or more second base stations located in a paging notification area of a target terminal to page the target terminal; and if the first base station receives, within preset duration, a second request message that is sent by one of the one or more second base stations and that is used to obtain a context of the target terminal, sending, by the first base station, the context of the target terminal to the second base station that sends the second request message.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data transmission methods and communications devices. One example communications device includes a transceiver. The transceiver is configured to send a transmission frame to a second communications device, where the second communications device acquires data information in the transmission frame, and the transmission frame includes a first part and a second part. The transceiver is configured to send the first part of the transmission frame by using a first quantity of subcarriers.
