A resource allocation method includes generating a first frame and sending the first frame. The first frame includes a plurality of user information fields. Each user information field of the plurality of user information fields includes one user identifier subfield and is used to allocate a resource to a user identified by the user identifier subfield. Two or more user information fields in the plurality of user information fields have corresponding values of corresponding user identifier subfields that are the same.

A method includes: when data of a first service needs to be sent to a receive end, sending m indication frames to the receive end if a type of the first service is a target service type; receiving n trigger frames sent by the receive end based on the m indication frames; and each time one trigger frame is received, sending the data of the first service to the receive end by using a transmission resource indicated by the trigger frame.

Embodiments of this application provide a service data transmission method, an access point, and a station. The method includes: receiving, by a station, a control frame, where the control frame includes control information; contending for a resource based on the control information; and sending first-type service data of the station to an access point on the resource obtained by contention, where the control information is used to instruct the station to contend for the resource used to transmit the first-type service data. In the embodiments of this application, the access point triggers the station to perform a procedure of reporting uplink first-type service data, and this can improve transmission efficiency of service data.

This application provides a physical layer convergence procedure protocol data unit communication method and a related apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a receiving apparatus, a physical layer convergence procedure protocol data unit PPDU sent by a sending apparatus, where the PPDU includes synchronization adjustment indication information and a data field, and the synchronization adjustment indication information and the data field are sent in a bandwidth less than 20 MHz; and performing, by the receiving apparatus, time synchronization and automatic gain control AGC on the data field based on the synchronization adjustment indication information. According to this solution, the receiving apparatus can perform, by using the synchronization adjustment indication information, time synchronization and automatic gain control AGC on the PPDU transmitted in a narrow bandwidth.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an access point, and a station for establishing an association in a WLAN. The method includes: sending an association message to a group of stations STAs including a plurality of STAs in the wireless local area network WLAN; sending a first notification to the group of STAs, where the first notification carries identifier information of each STA and information about a scheduling sequence for each STA; and receiving response messages sequentially sent, according to the scheduling sequence in the first notification, in response to the association message by the group of STAs. Thereby reducing the number of channel contentions, accelerating the process of associating the STAs with the AP, and ensuring that a STA used for a key application can establish an association with the AP quickly.

An embodiment method for error feedback includes receiving, by a wireless device, a first preamble field and a repeated preamble field of a first frame. The method also includes decoding, in a frequency domain, the first preamble field and the repeated preamble field to obtain a first set of bits and a second set of bits. The method also includes performing a bitwise comparison of the first set of bits and the second set of bits to determine at least one bit error position.

Embodiments provide a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: modulating, by using a phase-shift keying PSK scheme with rotation of a first angle, at least a part of pilot information carried in at least one signaling symbol in a signaling field of a data packet, to obtain modulated pilot information; and sending, to a receive end, a data packet that carries the modulated pilot information. A modulation scheme different from a conventional modulation scheme is used in the embodiments to modulate pilot information carried in a signaling symbol in a signaling field of a data packet, so that a data packet format corresponding to the modulation scheme can be effectively detected at a receive end.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting channel state information. The method includes: sending a feedback indication message, a high-efficiency long training sequence, and a resource scheduling message, wherein the feedback indication message is used to indicate more than one target STAs that need to feed back channel state information, the high-efficiency long training sequence is used for determining the channel state information by the target STAs, and the first resource scheduling message is used to indicate a communication resource used by the target STAs when the target STAs feed back the channel state information; and receiving the channel state information sent by the target STAs by using the communication resource.

The present disclosure provides a NAV (network allocation vector) setting method in a wireless communications system and a related device. The method includes: receiving, by a receiving node, a PPDU (physical layer protocol data unit) sent by a transmitting node; determining whether the receiving node satisfies a condition of allowing simultaneous transmission; and if the condition of allowing simultaneous transmission is satisfied, keeping a current NAV value unchanged; or if the condition of allowing simultaneous transmission is not satisfied, decoding the received PPDU to obtain a duration field, and updating the current NAV value of the receiving node according to a value of the duration field.
