    Abstract: Method and device for notifying reference signal configuration information are disclosed. Channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration information is coded, to obtain one or more CSI-RS configuration codes. The CSI-RS configuration codes are sent to a terminal device. The terminal device determines, based on CSI-RS configuration codes, CSI-RS configuration information such as a quantity of antenna ports for transmitting a CSI-RS, a CSI-RS pattern, a CSI-RS period and an offset corresponding to the CSI-RS period.
