    摘要: An automatic gap control apparatus for a disc brake with a parking brake comprises a cup-shaped piston having a bottom, the piston is slidably mounted inside the brake operating cylinder, a rod having a through hole slidably fitted inside the body, which is prevented from rotating and provided with a one-way reversible thread, a sleeve nut having a concave portion at an end thereof, which is provided at a front end thereof an abutting portion abutting against the bottom of the piston and threadably engaged with the one-way reversible thread of the rod thereby forming a length adjusting mechanism, a small piston having a large diameter head, which is fitted in the through hole of the rod, and the large diameter head is fitted in the concave portion of the sleeve nut, and a spring member provided between the cup-shaped piston and the sleeve nut, which urges the sleeve nut. When the fluid pressure applied to the brake operating cylinder exceeds a predetermined value, the fluid pressure urges the large diameter head to bend the coil spring thereby preventing the sleeve nut from rotating relative to the rod.

    摘要: In controlledly cooling steel strip in a continuous annealing line, the heat transfer rate needed for attaining the desired cooling rate is calculated from an equation including strip thickness, the cooling starting and finishing temperatures, and the desired cooling rate, and the obtained heat transfer rate is corrected according to the effect of natural cooling in idle-pass zones preceding and following the coolant spray zone. The flow rate of coolant is determined and set by using an equation expressing the predetermined relationship between the heat transfer rate and coolant flow rate. The length of the coolant spraying region extending in the direction of strip travel is calculated from the running speed of the strip, the cooling starting and finishing temperatures, and the desired cooling rate. The nozzles are set to turn on and off so that the coolant is sprayed from such a number of nozzles as correspond to the length of the spraying region thus calculated. Based on these settings, the coolant flow rate is corrected by re-calculating the heat transfer rate when strip thickness varies in the course of controlled cooling. Also, the on-off pattern of the nozzles is corrected by re-calculating the length of the coolant spraying region when the running speed of the strip varies.

The inclined edges are inclined in such a direction that a range in which the inclined edges and distal ends of the restraining side engaging member engage with each other is increased as the inclined edges go forward in a direction the restraining side engaging member moves based on an elastic force of an elastic member of the parking lock device.

    摘要: This invention provides a method for manufacturing a tire in which the time necessary for the manufacture can be reduced without deteriorating uniformity in manufacturing the tire by a strip-build process. The method for manufacturing the tire comprises discharging a strip rubber (S) having a predetermined sectional shape by rubber discharging devices (A1, A2) while rotating a molding drum (B), and successively winding the discharged strip rubber (S) around the molding drum (B) to mold the rubber into a tire shape. The method comprises the step of disposing, around the radial direction of the molding drum (B), at least two rubber discharging devices of a first rubber discharging device (A1) and a second rubber discharging device (A2) in such a state that the phase is shifted in the circumferential direction, and conducting winding in such a state that a first strip rubber (S1) discharged by the first rubber discharging device (A1) and a second strip rubber (S2) discharged by the second discharging device (A2) are overlapped with each other by a predetermined degree in the widthwise direction of the molding drum (B).
