The invention is a medicament magazine having at least one medicament chamber for use in a powder inhaler, wherein the magazine is formed from two foil strips applied to one another and the at least one medicament chamber is formed between the foil strips. The medicament chambers have an internal structure (3) which comprises in its interior a space for receiving a powdered medicament and stabilises this inner space against external mechanical influences. In another embodiment in which the internal structure preferably also has a stabilising function, the structure has means for opening one foil strip. The invention concerns a medicine dispensation device, in particular a multi-dose powder inhalator, for the dispensing of individual doses of medicine as depicted in exemplary FIG. 1. Therein a number of medicine chambers are contained in a medicine magazine shaped like a continuous loop. The medicine chambers form groups in such a manner that a mouthpiece reaches the different groups by an essentially complete rotation of the medicine magazine. This enables several medicine chambers—typically one, two or three—to be situated between two successive intake positions, which allows for a high density of medicine chambers and thus creates an inhalation device, which can be handled comfortably even when containing a great number of individual doses.

The capsule is pierced by means of the minimum of one pin and the pharmaceutical composition is released. The aim is to further improve such inhalers in terms of their operating comfort. This aim is achieved according to the invention with an embodiment of an inhaler wherein the actuating member is constructed as a double function actuating member (7) by means of which, in a first actuation, the closure element 914) can be unlatched from the lower part (1) in order to pivot the lid (13), and in a second actuation the mouthpiece (12) latched to the plate (9) can be released from the plate (9) such that the mouthpiece (12) can be pivoted away from the lower part (1). An inhaler is described for inhaling powdered medicament from capsules which are placed in a capsule holder (3) provided in the inhaler before use. Once the capsule has been placed in the capsule holder (3) the patient can press an actuating member (8), which can be set in motion from a resting position and thereby interacts with at least one pin (9) adapted to be pushed into the capsule holder (3). By means of the minimum of one pin the capsule is pierced and the medicament is released. The intention is to improve inhalers of this kind in terms of ease of operation. The objective is achieved according to one embodiment of the invention with an inhaler wherein the actuating member (8) is constructed as a multi-functional actuating member (8a) by means of which, in a first functional position, the closure element (6) can be disengaged from the lower part (1) in order to pivot the cover (5), and with which in a second functional position the mouthpiece (4) engaging with the plate (2) can be released from the plate (2) in such a way that the mouthpiece (4) can be pivoted away from the lower part (1).
