    摘要: A connector-equipped electric-wire bundle including a plurality of types of electric wires different in conductor cross-sectional area and elongation. The connector-equipped electric-wire bundle comprises a first electric wire having a first conductor, and a second electric wire having a second conductor with a greater cross-sectional area and a greater breaking elongation than those of the first conductor. A second connector terminal having, as a second crimp portion, only a conductor barrel and a water-proofing-plug barrel is attached to an end of the second electric wire, and a first connector terminal having, as a first crimp potion, a conductor barrel, a water-proofing-plug barrel and an intermediate barrel is attached to an end of the first electric wire. The intermediate barrel is crimped onto an insulating cover in an intermediate region between the end of the conductor of the first electric wire and a water-proofing plug.

    摘要: A wire harness has a joint connector having a joint terminal and a connector housing. The joint terminal has a short-circuit section and a plurality of electrical contact portions aligned in a direction substantially orthogonal to an axial direction of wires. The connector housing has an external wall surrounding terminal chambers and exposed to the outside; and a plurality of terminal locking tabs formed integrally with the external wall, the terminal locking tabs locking wire terminals. Each of the terminal locking tabs has a shape deflectable between an engaging position that locks each wire terminal and a disengaging position. The joint connector is fixed to the peripheral surface of a wire harness main body while the outer surface of the external wall of the connector housing faces and contacts the peripheral surface of the wire harness main body, the connector housing being provided with the terminal locking tabs.

    摘要: The present invention provides a ground joint connector capable of collectively connecting a plurality of grounding wires included in a wire harness for a vehicle, to a given ground site, while occupying a little space. The ground joint connector JC comprises a plurality of wire terminals to be attached to respective terminal ends of the grounding wires, a grounding conductor a connector housing holding the grounding conductor. The grounding conductor includes a plurality of wire-side terminal portions to be fitted to the respective wire terminals in a terminal fitting direction and a ground-side terminal portion to be connected to the ground site while fixed onto the wall surface around the ground site. The wire-side terminal portions aligned in a direction approximately perpendicular to the terminal fitting direction and parallel to the wall surface, and integrally joined to the ground-side terminal portion. The connector housing holds the grounding conductor to allow the ground-side terminal portion to protrude to outside and includes a plurality of terminal receiving chambers and a plurality of terminal locking portions. The terminal locking portions lock the respective wire terminals inserted into the respective terminal receiving chambers and fitted with the respective wire-side terminal portions.

    摘要: A joint connector capable of mutually short-circuiting wires reliably without an increase in the number of components and size thereof. The joint connector (JC) comprises a joint terminal for short-circuiting and a connector housing. The joint terminal includes a plurality of electric contact portions and a short-circuiting portion connecting the electric contact portions. The connector housing has a bottom wall and other walls surrounding a terminal insertion space into which each of the wire-side terminal is inserted, and a lance for locking the inserted wire-side terminal. The lance adapted to be deflected so as to project outwardly from the bottom wall, until the wire-side terminal reaches a proper insertion depth position, to be retracted from the wire-side terminal, and elastically return into the bottom wall, when the wire-side terminal reaches the position. The deflection of the lance allows the insertion of the wire-side terminal to be checked.

    摘要: The present invention provides a ground terminal fitting capable of being fixed to a ground member through a simple operation while permitting production cost to be reduced, and a ground device having the ground terminal fitting. The ground terminal fitting comprises a terminal body surrounding a through-hole, a clamping piece having a rising portion rising from an outer peripheral edge of the terminal body and a distal end portion extending inwardly from the rising portion along the terminal body, and a clampable piece located adjacent to the clamping piece in a circumferential direction of the terminal body. The clamping piece is adapted to clamp, when the ground terminal fitting is superimposed on a second ground terminal fitting, a clampable piece of the second ground terminal fitting to prevent a relative displacement between the ground terminal fittings. The distal end portion is adapted to contact the ground member penetrating through the through hole to prevent a relative rotation of the ground terminal fitting with respect to the ground member.

The cavities (12) are separate tubular members independent of a connector main body (14) and each of the cavities (12) also is configured as a separate member independent of the other cavities. The connector main body (14) functions as a holder for accommodating the plurality of cavities (12) and the cavities (12) are locked individually in the connector main body (14). Clearances are provided between the individual cavities (12) and the connector main body (14) in these locked parts and the cavities (12) are permitted to move relative to the connector main body (14) due to the clearances.
