    摘要: An electronic endoscope of the present invention includes a video-scope having an image sensor, a video-processor, to which a proximal end of the video-scope and a monitor are respectively connected, a character and mark generation controller, and an area-image changer. The character and mark generation controller generates character signals and indicator-mark signals, and then feeds the character signals and the indicator-mark signals to the monitor. The image-area changer changes a size of an image-area of the object image displayed on the screen of the monitor to another size, thus the object image is selectively displayed within one of plural image-areas on the screen in accordance with a size change of the image-area. The characters and mark generation controller includes a display-position adjuster that determines display-positions of the character information and the indicator-mark on the basis of a reference table, in which a correspondence relationship between each of the image-area and each of the display-positions of the character information and the indicator-mark is indicated.

    摘要: In an electronic endoscope, a video-scope has an image sensor for photographing an object image and a light guide for guiding light toward an object. A video-processor has a light source, a stop, a signal conversion circuit, a histogram processing circuit, and a CPU. When the video-scope is connected to the video-processor, light emitted from the light source is guided by the light guide and radiates from a distal end of the light guide, so that an object image is formed on the image sensor. The object image is then converted into the image-pixel signals. Further, a representative value, which relates to a brightness of the object image, is calculated on the basis of the image-pixel signals through the signal conversion circuit, the histogram processing circuit, and the CPU. Then, a control of light radiating from the distal end of the light guide is performed at regular time-intervals. Namely, the stop is controlled such that the brightness of the object image is proper. In this case, when the representative value is not newly calculated, the stop is driven.

    摘要: A device for controlling an amount of light of a lighting unit for use in an endoscope, used to view an image of an object. The device includes a light shield system for shielding light generated by a light source and transmitted to the endoscope. A stepping motor drives the light shield for a series of predetermined time intervals. Brightness of the image is detected during each of the time intervals and pulses are generated during each of the time intervals. One of a plurality of brightness ranges is set in accord with desired brightness of image. A determination is made as to whether the detected brightness is within one of the ranges. The pulses generated are used to drive the stepping motor in each of the plurality of time intervals.

    摘要: A device for detecting a load torque using angle detectors fitted with a certain spacing on a shaft which is rotated by a drive source and on the basis of a relative angular difference of angles detected by the angle detectors. The device includes two rotary drums or discs fitted with a certain spacing on the drive side and load side of the shaft, with a plurality of magnetic poles for generating magnetic signals being formed on the surface thereof, and a magnetic sensor disposed to confront the surface of the rotary drums or discs, with magnetic resistance effect elements which vary in internal resistance in response to the magnetism of the magnetic poles being provided thereon. The amount of torsion created by the load on the load side of the rotary shaft is measured as a phase difference of outputs of the magnetic sensor, and the torque is detected in terms of the angular difference between the magnetic drums or discs. The device is operative to detect a torque in both storage and rotation, and capable of detection within a period of magnetic signal, whereby high-accuracy, high-resolution torque detection is made possible.

    摘要: A magnetic position detector having a rotary magnetic recording medium which is movable with a movable body the position of which is to be detected. The rotary magnetic recording medium is divided into plural channels, each of which includes two tracks. A magnetic sensor is disposed to face the magnetic recording medium with a predetermined air gap therebetween and includes two sets of magnetoresistive elements spaced by a predetermined distance for each channel. Each set of magnetoresistive elements includes two elements wherein the first elements of the two sets face one of the tracks of a channel and the second elements of the other of the two sets faces the other track and the first and second elements of the two sets are formed as one body with adjacent ends of the first and second elements being coupled with each other. The coupled adjacent ends are connected to either one of first terminals for deriving output voltages from the magnetoresistive elements or to second terminals for supplying the magnetoresistive elements with source voltage. The non-adjacent ends of the first and second elements which are opposite to the coupled ends are connected to the other of the first and second terminals. In this manner, the sensor can be made small in size and the resistivity against noise is enhanced.

    摘要: In a gate pulse generator for a thyristor converter of the type in which in order to fire thyristors of the thyristor converter in which each arm is comprised of a plurality of series-connected thyristors, the gate pulses are generated in response to the gate command signal and the thyristor forward voltage signal and are converted into the light signals which in turn are transmitted to the thyristor converter, whether or not the forward voltage signal exists when the gate command signal is generated is detected and when the forward voltage signal is generated prior to the generation of the gate command signal, the pulse duration is narrowed to a minimum required for firing the thyristor. When the forward voltage signal is generated during the time interval in which the gate command signal continues, the differences in time point when the forward voltage signals are generated among the thyristors due to the storage carrier differences therebetween are taken into consideration so that the pulse duration is increased. Therefore, from the standpoint of the frequency of occurrence, the thyristors can be fired in response to the pulse signal with a narrow pulse duration in almost all cases.
