    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention, relating to the communications field, disclose a paging optimization method, apparatus, and system, so as to ensure that a terminal normally receives a paging message sent by a system. A specific solution carried by a core network node comprising determining channel loss information of a terminal according to an international mobile subscriber identity IMSI or a temporary mobile subscriber identity S-TMSI of the terminal; and sending a first paging message that carries the channel loss information to an access network node, wherein the first paging message is used to page the terminal. The present invention is used in a paging process.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a data transmission method and a communications device. The method includes: determining a first transmission manner of a first physical channel, where the first transmission manner is a manner in which data transmission is performed on the first physical channel; and determining a second transmission manner of a second physical channel according to the first transmission manner, where the second transmission manner is a manner in which data transmission is performed on the second physical channel. It is implemented that a transmission manner of a physical channel different from the first physical channel is determined according to the transmission manner of the first physical channel, and therefore it is implemented that different transmission manners are applied to different channels.

    Abstract: The application pertains to determining a rank of channel loss extent. A base station sends to a terminal a signaling indicating that there are N ranks of channel loss extent. Each rank has a corresponding number of random access preamble repetitions. The base station receives from the terminal device one or more transmissions of a random access preamble in a first number of repetitions of the random access preamble. The base station determines the rank of channel loss extent according to a random access preamble group in which the received random access preamble is located, or the first number of repetitions of the received random access preamble. A channel loss is a reference signal received power (RSRP). After determining the rank of channel loss extent, the base station determines a second number of repetitions corresponding to the determined rank of channel loss extent, for sending or receiving uplink/downlink information.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide an information transmission method, a base station, user equipment, and a system, which relate to the field of information transmission. The method includes: determining a characteristic parameter of user equipment; determining, according to a correspondence between a characteristic parameter and a resource configuration, a resource configuration corresponding to the characteristic parameter of the user equipment, and using the resource configuration corresponding to the characteristic parameter of the user equipment as a first resource configuration, where the first resource configuration includes one or more types of the following sub-configurations: a spreading resource configuration, a random access preamble format configuration, a narrowband resource configuration, and a frequency hopping pattern configuration; and determining a resource according to the first resource configuration, and performing information transmission with the user equipment by using the resource. In this way, unnecessary resource use and power expenditure are avoided, thereby economizing on resources.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for information transmission. The method includes determining multiple enhanced transmission occasion configurations; determining a first enhanced transmission occasion configuration according to a channel loss magnitude with a user equipment, a time width occupied by the enhanced transmission occasion is greater than a time width occupied by a non-enhanced transmission occasion; sending information according to the first enhanced transmission occasion configuration. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a base station and user equipment, configured to determine an enhanced transmission occasion configuration according to the range which the channel loss magnitude belongs to. Therefore, the base station and user equipment may send and/or receive information on a suitable time-frequency resource and power configuration according to the channel loss magnitude, thus, the resource allocation is optimized, and the power consumption is saved.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a physical downlink control channel sending method. The method includes: sending configuration information of a first physical downlink control channel on a predefined resource, where the configuration information of the first physical downlink control channel is used to indicate manners of sending and receiving the first physical downlink control channel; and sending the first physical downlink control channel according to the configuration information of the first physical downlink control channel. Correspondingly, the embodiments of the present disclosure further disclose a physical downlink control channel receiving method, a base station device, and user equipment. By using the present disclosure, a physical downlink control channel, especially, an EPDCCH channel, can be transmitted, to resolve a problem of physical downlink control channel transmission caused by the fact that narrowband user equipment cannot receive a broadband PDCCH channel.

The method includes: determining a first narrowband resource available to an MTC terminal according to UE information in a random access process and/or common information of a cell; and transmitting control information and/or data on the first narrowband resource. According to the solutions of this application, in a case where the MTC terminal cannot receive RRC signaling, the narrowband resource available to the MTC terminal can still be determined beforehand, and communication between the MTC terminal and a network-side device is implemented by using the narrowband resource.
