Provided are a PNA chip for determining the genotypes of mycobacterial species in which probe PNAs having DNA sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 5-28 are immobilized on a plastic substrate coated with an epoxy group-containing polymer, and a method of determining the genotypes of mycobacterial species using the PNA chip. According to the PNA chip and the method of determining the genotypes of mycobacterial species, the genotypes of mycobacterial species which are causes of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases can be determined within a short term with good sensitivity and specificity. Therefore, detection of the presence of mycobacterial species in test samples, and after confirmation of the presence of mycobacterial species, identification of the mycobacterial species and determination of whether or not the mycobacterial species are tuberculosis-causing mycobacterial species can be achieved promptly and accurately.

The present invention relates to a cutting tool for cutting or drilling a brittle work piece such as stone, bricks, concrete and asphalt, and a method for manufacturing thereof. The present invention provides a cutting tool including a shank rotatably connected to a driving device and segments welded at predetermined intervals on an outer periphery of the shank. Each of the segments has abrasives attached thereto by brazing and the each segment is welded after the abrasives are brazed thereto. Also, a method for manufacturing thereof is provided. The present invention ensures improvement in cutting capacity and useful life of the cutting tool.

The apparatus and method determines the driving state of a pixel unit by using a vertical sync signal, and turns on or off the determined driving state of the pixel unit. The supply of the power voltage is sustained when the pixel unit is driven, and is turned off when the pixel unit is not driven. Accordingly, the apparatus and method can minimize or prevent a raindrop phenomenon and an afterimage by turning off the supply of the power voltage when the pixel unit is not driven.
