Abstract:
The present invention discloses a system and method of searching, exploring or otherwise navigating the contents of a collection of networked documents or pages. In a preferred embodiment, this system provides a user with a multimedia display format which intuitively indicates, without the user opening a document or web page, the characteristics of the document or web pages. Additionally, this system permits a user to move between such documents without extensively entering explicit search terms. With this system, the contents of Internet web pages may be evaluated by incrementally adjusting through a multimedia display of a continuum of related web pages, which are identified as having keywords that match any of a collection of keywords generated from an initially-inputted keyword. This system further comprises a dial or rotary control that allows the user to select, in a continuous fashion, among such displayed, Internet web pages.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for automatic calibration of large industrial engines in applications where the quality of the fuel supply is unknown and/or variable over time, particularly engines that drive compressors on a natural gas well site. A combination of throttles and an oxygen sensor including a mass-flow-air throttle and a mass-flow-gas throttle to determine the mass flow of air and mass flow of gas. As a response to exhaust gas oxygen level readings, the mass flow measurements are used to determine real time air-fuel ratios. An algorithm uses the air-fuel ratios as input data, wherein a microcontroller adjusts the throttles to meet engine performance demands. Additionally, using the air-fuel ratio data and suggested engine OEM calibration specifications as block multiplier inputs, particular fuel properties, such as British Thermal Unit (BTU) content, can be accurately interpolated, thereby enabling automatic calibration of the engine .
Abstract:
A metal article formed by compacting a sodium/molybdenum composite metal powder under sufficient pressure to form a preformed article; placing the preformed article in a sealed container; raising the temperature of the sealed container to a temperature that is lower than a sintering temperature of molybdenum; and subjecting the sealed container to an isostatic pressure for a time sufficient to increase the density of the metal article to at least about 90% of theoretical density.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly may include a connector body having a conductor receiving end and first and second connector ends formed substantially perpendicularly to an axial direction of the conductor receiving end. The connector body includes a first axial bore that communicates with each of a second axial bore and a third axial bore in the first and second connector ends, respectively. The electrical connector assembly may include a conductor spade assembly received in the first axial bore, wherein the conductor spade assembly includes a spade portion extending between the second axial bore and the third axial bore. A removeable contact may be received within the second axial bore to conductively engage the spade portion of the conductor spade assembly.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly may include a connector body having a conductor receiving end, a connector end, a linking assembly connecting the conductor receiving end to the connector end, and a visible open port positioned in the connector body for viewing at least a portion of the linking assembly. The linking assembly may include a rearward conductive end conductively coupled to the conductor receiving end, a flexible conductor conductively coupled to the connector end, and a linking pin coupled to the flexible conductor and movable between a first position and a second position. The first position maintains the conductor receiving end electrically isolated from the connector end, and the second position conductively couples the conductor receiving end to the connector end.
Abstract:
A method of receiving a first set of target data points from a first data feed and receiving a second set of target data points from a second data feed arrangement. Comparing a time variable included in the target data points from the first set to the time variable included in the target data points from the second set to determine time matched target data points and further comparing a second variable included in the time matched target data points from the first set to the second variable included in the corresponding time matched target data points from the second set to determine fully matched target data points. Combining the first set of target data points with the second set of target data points when the fully matched target data points satisfies a predetermined threshold.
Abstract:
A system and method for receiving an aircraft identifier corresponding to an aircraft, retrieving information on the basis of the aircraft identifier, determining an attractiveness of an operator of the aircraft as a potential customer based on at least the retrieved information and determining a suggested fuel price based on at least the attractiveness of the operator as a potential customer.
Abstract:
A video display device detects whether an output port of a video source device is communicatively coupled to an input port of the video display device, based on detecting a resistance at the output port of the video source device. In response to detecting that the output port of the video source device is communicatively coupled to the input port of the video display device, and where the video source device is not currently outputting a signal at the output port, the video display device performs one or more actions.

A method retrieves a playback settings file for a video file. The playback settings file is previously generated based at least on analysis of the video file without alteration of the video file. The playback settings file contains information for playback of the video file other than information for decoding the video file. The method plays back the video file in accordance with the playback settings file.
