Abstract: An advertisement distribution system for distributing an advertisement to at least one terminal apparatus installed in the store, includes: a management server configured to manage a plurality of advertisements; and a store server configured to select, based on a distribution condition set for each of the plurality of advertisements, an advertisement to be distributed and a terminal apparatus to be a distribution destination of the advertisement, and distribute the advertisement to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus displays the advertisement distributed from the store server, and outputs information on a display record, which is a record of actual display on the terminal apparatus, of the advertisement. The management server manages, based on the information outputted from the terminal apparatus, the display record of each of advertisements that have been actually displayed in the store.

Abstract: A self-checkout verification system may include a user device configured to collect user mobile checkout image data from products to be purchased in a store during a mobile checkout process, generate a mobile checkout list of the products to be purchased based upon the collected mobile checkout image data, and process payment based upon the mobile checkout list. The system may also include a self-checkout verification station in the store and configured to obtain the mobile checkout list from the user device, collect verification image data from a plurality of products presented for verification, and generate a verification list based upon the verification image data. The self-checkout verification station may also be configured to determine a discrepancy between the verification list and the mobile checkout list, and generate and communicate a notification based upon the discrepancy.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving N sets of identification data for the patron captured by N passive data capture devices, respectively; and for each unique patron identifier: calculating N partial confidence values for that unique patron identifier based on N comparisons of the N sets of identification data with N sets of stored identification data, respectively, associated with that unique patron identifier; and based on the N partial confidence values of that unique patron identifier and N weighting values, respectively, calculating an overall confidence value for that unique patron identifier. One unique patron identifier having a highest overall confidence value is selected. When the selected overall confidence value is less than a predetermined value: a new unique patron identifier is created in a database; and the N sets of identification data captured using the N passive data capture devices, respectively, is stored in association with the new unique patron identifier.
