    摘要: An electrical connector for connecting a sheet-like member includes a housing (1) defining an insertion slot (10); a plurality of terminals (2) arranged in the housing in parallel relationship with a predetermined pitch, each of the terminals having a contact beam (22) extending into the insertion slot and a pivot beam (21) extending substantially parallel to the contact beam; and an actuator (3) rotatably provided for establishing an electrical connection between the sheet-like member and the contact beams. The actuator provides cam portions (31) each interposed between every other the pivot beam. Each of the cam portions provides shaft portions (32) respectively adapted for pivotably engaging with the pivot beams disposed therebeside. The shaft portions extending towards each other respectively from two adjacent cam portions are spaced to define a gap (33) therebetween.

The first PCB is attached on a bottom wall (312) of the magnetic module. The second PCB carries capacitors and resistors and a pair of LEDs (501, 502) soldered on a front portion thereof. The second PCB is attached on a top wall (311) of the magnetic module. The magnetic module defines a passageway (38) and the grounding plate has a flat portion (90) received therein.

Each channel has an inner face (106) and a pair of step portions (107) oppositely protruding from the inner face. Each terminal includes a body portion (21) having two opposed side edges (213), a pair of spaced-apart legs (22) extending from an end of the body portion, and a tail portion (23) extending from an opposite end of the body portion. Each side edge has a shoulder (212) and a recessed portion (214) under the shoulder. The step portion is depressed and collapsed by the shoulder when the terminal is inserted into the terminal receiving channel and part of the step portion is pressed into the recessed portions of the terminal, thereby securing the terminal in the housing.
