    摘要: Disclosed is a magnetic recording medium having a flexible nonmagnetic support, a nonmagnetic layer containing a nonmagnetic powder and a binder on the support, and a magnetic layer containing a ferromagnetic powder and a binder. The magnetic layer has an average thickness d of 0.01 to 0.3 &mgr;m, a ratio &sgr;/d of a standard deviation &sgr; in the thickness of the magnetic layer to the average thickness d equal to or less than 0.5, and, according to the roughness spectrum of a magnetic layer surface measured with an atomic force microscope, a PSD of 0.5 nm2 or lower in a wavelength of 1 to 5 &mgr;m and a PSD of 0.02 to 0.5 nm2 in a wavelength of 0.5 &mgr;m or more to less than 1 &mgr;m.

    摘要: The objects of the present invention are to achieve high quality recording having no stripes between main-scannings at a low cost, a low running cost, miniaturization of the apparatus and low power consumption and shorten printing time. In order to achieve the object described above, the thermal recording apparatus is equipped with a recording head in which p pieces of recording elements for recording dots on the recorded medium are disposed at an interval of k dots in a sub-scanning direction, a first drive means for driving the recording head described above in a main-scanning direction, a second drive means for driving the recording head by a distance of p dots every sub-scanning in a sub-scanning direction, a third drive means for driving a recording medium disposed so that it contacts the recorded medium described above, and a control means for controlling the first, second and third drive means and outputting image data to be recorded on the preceding recorded medium to the recording head described above.

    摘要: A secondary battery is comprised of a positive electrode, a negative electrode formed from a carbon composition intercalating lithium reversibly and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The non-aqueous electrolyte includes a lithium salt and a mixture of a low boiling point solvent having the boiling point of 150.degree. C. or lower and an organic solvent of vinylene carbonate or its derivative. The negative electrode may comprise a graphite, and the positive electrode may comprise a material being selected from a group consisting of metal chalcogen and metal oxide, such as V.sub.2 O.sub.5, TiS.sub.2, MoS.sub.2, LiCoO.sub.2, LiMnO.sub.2, LiNiO.sub.2, LiCrO.sub.2, LiMn.sub.2 O.sub.4 and LiFeO.sub.2. The low boiling point solvent may be selected from a group consisting of dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, 1,2-dimethoxy ethane, 1,2-diethoxy ethane and ethoxymethoxy ethane. The derivative may be provided by replacing at least one of two hydrogen atoms of the vinylene carbonate with one selected from a group consisting of a methyl group, an ethyl group and one halogen atom.
