摘要: For a nonvolatile memory permitting electrical writing and erasing of information to be stored, such as a flash memory, the load on the system developer is to be reduced, and it is to be made possible to avoid, even if such important data for the system as management and address translation information are damaged, an abnormal state in which the system becomes unable to operate. The nonvolatile memory is provided with a replacing function to replace a group of memory cells including defective memory cells which are incapable of normal writing or erasion with a group of memory cells including no defective memory cell, a numbers of rewrites averaging function to grasp the number of data rewrites in each group of memory cells and to so perform replacement of memory cell groups that there may arise no substantial difference in the number of rewrites among a plurality of memory cell groups, and an error correcting function to detect and correct any error in data stored in the memory array, wherein first address translation information deriving from the replacing function and second address translation information deriving from the numbers of rewrites averaging function are stored in respectively prescribed areas in the memory array, and the first address translation information and second address translation information concerning the same memory cell group are stored in a plurality of sets in a time series.

摘要: In a digital-watermark superposing apparatus and a digital-watermark detecting apparatus, a plurality of DCT coefficients for respective frequency components are generated by subjecting video data to a two-dimensional DCT transform for each pixel block consisting of a predetermined number of pixels, and the value of at least one of the DCT coefficients is quantized in accordance with a quantization rule corresponding to the information so as to obtain a quantized DCT coefficient. A two-dimensional inverse DCT transform is performed with respect to the DCT coefficients in which the at least one DCT coefficient thereof is replaced with the quantized DCT coefficient, so as to obtain digital-watermark superposed video data in which the digital watermark corresponding to the information has been superposed on the video data. At this juncture, the digital-watermark superposed video data is selected and outputted concerning a section in which a video pattern due to the video data is not flatter than a predetermined video pattern, while, instead of the digital-watermark superposed video data, the video data is selected and outputted as it is concerning a section in which the video pattern due to the video data is flatter than the predetermined video pattern.

摘要: A speaker device is capable of accurately generating sound even within a high audio region, without high sound pressure even when generating a large sound. The speaker device includes a sound-producing vibrator having a vibrating body which is, for instance, a semi-spherical piezoelectric ceramic. Electrodes are provided on both surfaces of the vibrating body. An input signal from an amplifier is input between the electrodes so that the vibrating body is vibrated and sound is produced. The resonant frequency of the sound-producing vibrator is set higher than about 20 kHz, which is the upper limit of the human audible range. Furthermore, the thickness of the vibrating body is increased and its mass is increased.

摘要: A speaker includes a disk-shaped base. A substantially hemispherical surface vibrator is fitted into a substantially circular groove provided in the base and bonded therein. Terminals are attached to electrodes provided on both surfaces of the vibrator. The terminals, passing through the terminal grooves provided in the base, are led out in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the base. Further, a horn as a separate member may be attached to the outer surface side of the vibrator.

摘要: An emergency locking scat hinge device includes an inner and outer members defining a plurality of chambers therebetween, each having a relatively wide central part and end parts which get progressively narrower circumferentially away from the central part, a rolling member received in each of the chambers, a resiliently supported retaining member which retains each of the rolling members in the side central part of the corresponding chamber, and an acceleration sensitive locking device which actuates the retaining member so as to cause the rolling members to wedge between the inner and outer members. Because this seat hinge device permits free rotation under normal condition but prevents the relative rotation in a high acceleration situation, it can effectively increase the mechanical strength and rigidity of a seat back against tilting particularly when it is used on one side of a vehicle seat while a normal recliner hinge device is used on the other side of the vehicle seat.

摘要: An apparatus for superposing a digital watermark for superposing digital watermark information on an information data signal bearing original information, superposes digital watermark information on an information data signal bearing original information, for each unit block consisting of a group of pieces of information data. This apparatus is provided with an auxiliary embedding circuit 10 for embedding second digital watermark information in the information data; a blocking circuit 12 for dividing into the unit blocks the changed information data signal obtained by the auxiliary embedding circuit; and a main embedding circuit 20 for embedding first digital watermark information in the changed information data signal for each of the divided blocks. The second digital watermark information bears information for identifying the position of the divided unit block in a predetermined section of the information data signal. On the basis of the second watermark information, a detecting apparatus effects proper blocking with respect to the information data signal with the watermark embedded therein, so as to detect the first watermark information.

摘要: A vehicular air-conditioner provided with a rear face duct and rear foot duct, wherein the dimensions of the vehicular air-conditioner in the lengthwise direction are reduced by arranging the rear face duct (26) and foot duct (31) to appear to overlap at the parts extending downward when viewed from the side. Specifically, the rear face duct (26) is bent to the vehicle front to fit in the space formed by splitting the foot duct 31 into two from an intermediate position of the downstream side to form the right side duct portion (31a) and the left side duct portion (31b).
