    Abstract: A scroll compressor may include a casing configured to contain oil at a lower portion; a drive motor provided in the casing; a rotational shaft coupled to the drive motor, and having an oil supply passage in order to guide oil contained in the casing to an upper side; a frame provided below the drive motor; a fixed scroll provided below the frame, and having a fixed wrap; and an orbiting scroll provided between the frame and the fixed scroll, having an orbiting wrap to form a compression chamber with the fixed wrap, and having rotational shaft coupling portion. One or more oil dimples may be formed at a peripheral end surface of the rotational shaft coupling portion. With such a configuration, as oil may be smoothly supplied to an end surface of the orbiting wrap near the rotational shaft coupling portion, abrasion may be prevented.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a first compression chamber, a second compression chamber separated from the first compression chamber, and having a greater compression ratio than the first compression chamber, a first discharge port that communicates with the first compression chamber and provided with a first discharge inlet and a first discharge outlet, and a second discharge port separated from the first discharge port, that communicates with the second compression chamber, and provided with a second discharge inlet and a second discharge outlet, the discharge outlet of at least one of the first discharge port or the second discharge port may have a larger sectional area than the discharge inlet. Accordingly, a discharge delay in each compression chamber may be prevented in advance, thereby suppressing compression loss.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a scroll compressor according to the present disclosure in which a discharge port is formed at a central portion thereof, and a pair of two compression chambers continuously moving toward the discharge port are formed, and a plurality of bypass portions are formed at each interval along a movement path of each compression chamber in the both compression chambers, and compression gradients of the both compression chambers are formed to be different from each other, wherein when an interval between a bypass portion closest to the discharge port and another bypass portion adjacent to the bypass portion among the bypass portions of each compression chamber is defined as a first interval, respectively, a first interval of a second bypass portion belonging to a compression chamber having a relatively larger compression gradient is formed to be smaller than that of a first bypass portion belonging to the other compression chamber between the both compressor chambers.

    Abstract: A compressor is provided that may include a passage separator provided between an electric motor drive and a compression device to separate a refrigerant passage from an oil passage. The passage separator may include a first partition wall and a second partition wall. The first partition wall may be disposed between an inner circumferential surface of a casing and a discharge hole of the compression device, and the second partition wall may be disposed between the discharge hole and a balance weight. Accordingly, the refrigerant passage may be separated from the oil passage between the compression device and electric motor drive, thereby efficiently recovering oil to an oil storage space.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may prevent an oil-feeding hole from being blocked due to a high pressure refrigerant, which is compressed in compression chambers and introduced into the oil-feeding hole through an oil-feeding slit, by blocking one of both end portions of the oil-feeding slit, adjacent to the compression chambers, when the oil-feeding hole is formed through an outer circumferential surface of a bearing and the oil-feeding slit, which communicates with the oil-feeding hole, is formed on the outer circumferential surface. This may allow for smooth oil supply onto the outer circumferential surface of the bearing through the oil-feeding hole, thereby enhancing a bearing performance. Also, the oil-feeding hole or slit may be formed at a closest position to an oil feeding-required section, not within the section. This may allow for quick oil supply into the oil feeding-required section, resulting in further enhanced bearing performance.
