Abstract: Disclosed is a geo-networking transmission method of a V2X communication apparatus. The geo-networking transmission method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes receiving a geo-networking packet; identifying whether the received geo-networking packet is a packet which is prestored in a buffer; determining whether to perform a forwarding progress of the geo-networking packet, when the received geo-networking packet is not a prestored packet; storing the received geo-networking packet in the buffer and starting a timer, when the forwarding progress is determined; and transmitting the geo-networking packet, when the timer expires.

The geo-networking transmission method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes configuring location information, wherein the location information includes information on a V2X communication apparatus executing a geo-networking protocol, selecting a forwarder candidate among neighboring V2X communication apparatuses included in the location table, determining a forwarder based on a distance between the forwarder candidate and a destination, and setting an address of the determined forwarder as a link layer address of a next hop, and transmitting a geo-networking packet based on the link layer address.

The method includes, formatting, by an input formatting block, input streams into plural PLPs (Physical Layer Pipes); encoding, by an encoder, data in the plural PLPs; time interleaving, by a time interleaver, the encoded data in the plural PLPs, wherein the time interleaving includes: cell interleaving, by a cell interleaver, the encoded data by permuting cells in a FEC (Forward Error Correction) block in the plural PLPs; frame mapping, by a framer, the time interleaved data onto at least one signal frame; and waveform modulating, by a waveform block, the mapped data in the at least one signal frame and transmitting, by the waveform block, broadcast signals having the modulated data.
