摘要： It is an object to provide a blood pressure monitor, wherein the noise caused by the friction of overlapping parts of a cuff can be inhibited during automatic elevation in the cuff pressure, and reliability in the automatic elevation of cuff pressure can be significantly enhanced.A cuff (1) is used in a blood pressure monitor to measure a blood pressure in a rolled condition where one end of the cuff (1) is wound within the other end thereof, wherein a cushion member (6) made of a raised fabric (61) is provided in at least one of surfaces at one end and the other end of the cuff (1) which rub against each other.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a fixing unit to fix an image formed on a recording material, first open-close means capable of releasing a conveying path to convey the recording material to the fixing unit, and second open-close means releasable upward in a vertical direction together with the intermediate transferring member, and when the first open-close member and the second open-close member are opened, the fixing unit is disposed on the image forming apparatus main body. In this manner, the effect of the weight of the fixing means can be reduced at the opening and closing time of any of the open-close means.

摘要： An apparatus for simultaneously reading images on both sides of the document sheet as the sheet having images on both sides is moved through the apparatus, one side read by a CCD sensor and the other side read by a contacted image sensor. An image synthesizing unit synthesizes image data from the CCD sensor and image data from the contacted image within one cycle of main scanning by the two image reading units. Furthermore, image processing circuits in the subsequent steps perform specific modes of processing on the data within one cycle of main scanning. That permits simultaneous reading of both sides of the sheet document without reducing document reading speed and expansion of the image processing unit.

摘要： The floor of a motor vehicle which is assembled in a floor assembly station is transported to a subsequent station using at least two welding robots on each lateral side of the floor assembly station. These welding robots are constituted into dual-purpose welding robots for performing both welding work and transporting work. After the assembling of the floor has been finished, the floor is supported at four lateral and longitudinal jack-up points through the workpiece receiving member by the cooperation of these dual-purpose welding robots, and is transported from the floor assembly station to the subsequent station.

摘要： The present invention is directed to an electronic sphygmomanometer for determining a blood pressure depending on variation in pulse wave amplitude variation waveform and cuff pressure formed by variation in the amplitude of the pulse wave, comprising: detecting the pulse wave amplitude and cuff pressure when the pulse wave exceeds a first threshold to define a first threshold; detecting the pulse wave amplitude and cuff pressure when the pulse wave exceeds a second cuff pressure to define a second point; and then, calculating a pulse wave amplitude linear equation for connecting the first and the second points to obtain a systolic blood pressure value. According to the invention, the electronic sphygmomanometer is capable of precisely measuring a blood pressure even if dispersion occurs in pulse wave amplitude depending on how to mount the cuff or even if there is certain distortion in pulse wave depending on the physical conditions of a subject.
