摘要: A recording sheet adaptable to print an image using pigment ink, on which a smear is hardly generated, is provided. A recording sheet includes an ink permeable layer prepared by adding 3-30 parts by weight of a nonionic surfactant including an amine compound as a main component to 30 parts by weight of a water-insoluble component including an inorganic filler and a binder as main components. Ink applied on such an ink permeable layer is directly absorbed into the layer in a depth direction without dispersing in a lateral direction. Therefore, any smear (banding) is hardly generated on a printed image formed on the recording sheet using ink.

摘要: A recording sheet for use with inkjet printers which achieves high color density while being free of bleeding is provided. The recording sheet has an ink-receiving layer and an ink permeable layer arranged on a surface of the ink-receiving layer. The ink permeable layer includes a filler, a surfactant, and a binder. The surfactant includes a fluorosurfactant having perfluoro-alkyl groups in its chemical structure. The ink permeable layer is made hydrophobic as well as lipophobic since hydrophilic groups on the surfaces of the filler particles will be covered by perfluoro-alkyl groups of the fluorosurfactant. This prevents aqueous ink added an organic solvent from dispersing within the ink permeable layer. The ink permeable layer includes a binder containing a water-insoluble resin having a hydroxyl value of 4 or higher (mgKOH/g) to lower the affinity to the ink.

摘要: An Electron Beam Tester which corrects deformation of a secondary electron image produced from scanning a sample with an electron beam. The secondary electron image is stored in a storage unit. Luminance data of the stored image is accumulated to obtain a projected luminance distribution. The projected luminance distribution data is then analyzed by a parallelism evaluation unit to obtain a rotation angle. Then the rotation angle is used to determine maximum parallelism and correct deformation of the secondary electron image by providing deflection control which transforms the deflectors .

摘要: A non-resonating type knock sensor for an internal combustion engine is disclosed which has an annular piezoelectric element secured within a case on which a connector is integrally formed to send a piezoelectric voltage signal generated from the piezoelectric element outside of the sensor. The piezoelectric element has a non-polarized portion at a position adjacent to the connector so that a vibration transmitted from the connector to the piezoelectric element does not substantially cause the piezoelectric element to generate an electrical output.

摘要: A strobo electron beam apparatus is provided having an energy analyzer, which: measures the voltage in the integrated circuit; samples a secondary electron signal by setting and connecting a retarding voltage of the energy analyzer to the measured phase; obtains the waveform of the secondary electron signal by a one time or several times phase scanning; and adds the product of a suitable coefficient and a difference between the secondary electron signal waveform, and a slice level to the retarding voltage and corrects the same. Multiple units are provided for: judging the conversion of the retarding voltage, from the value of the dispersion for the slice level of the secondary electron signal waveform; for adding and giving a mean of the retarding voltage, for obtaining a measured value of retarding voltage having a desired S/N ratio; and for random phase scanning so that the measured value having a desired S/N ratio can be easily obtained.

摘要: A control system for controlling the load of an AC motor/generator of secondary AC excitation type connected to a power system in parallel to at least a synchronous machine. The AC motor/generator has the secondary excitation winding thereof controlled in the amount of excitation so as to generate an output in accordance with an external output command. In the case of variation of power flow between the power system and the synchronous machine, the output command is corrected in accordance with the variation, and the amount of the secondary excitation is controlled by the corrected output command, whereby the variation of power flow between the power system and the synchronous machine is absorbed by the AC motor/generator thereby to prevent the synchronous machine from stepping out.

摘要: In a piezoelectric pressure indicator comprising a casing, a pressure receiving member at the bottom of the casing, piezoelectric elements mounted on the pressure receiving member, an acceleration compensating weight and acceleration compensating piezoelectric elements, both piezoelectric elements being connected such that the voltage produced thereby cancel with each other, thereby compensating for an effect of acceleration, an uppermost acceleration compensating element is formed with a perforation, and a lead wire for deriving the voltage is connected to the electrode of a lower imperforate acceleration compensating piezoelectric element to extend through the perforation of the imperforated element. In a modification, the pressure receiving member is covered by a heat resistant protective layer made of ceramic.

摘要: A capillary nib for pens is shaped from a thermoplastic resin bar and has a cross-sectional shape comprising an outer shell and a plurality of projections joined integrally at their bases to the outer shell at equal angular spacing intervals and projecting centripetally toward the center of the cross section, voids constituting principal capillary ink passages being formed between the projections, alternate projections extending fully to the center and being joined together. The thermoplastic resin bar is formed by extruding the resin in molten state though a die having a large number of orifices disposed in a specific arrangement thereby to form a plurality of filaments of the resin and causing the filaments to adhere longitudinally while the surfaces thereof are still substantially in molten state thereby to form the bar. Each passage or channel has substantially identical transverse width across its cross-sectional area.
