摘要: A method and system signal resource allocation information in an asymmetric multicarrier communication network. A MS communicates with a BS using asymmetric carriers consisting of at least one low frequency carrier (e.g., primary carriers) in a cellular band and at least one high frequency carrier (e.g., secondary carriers) in a millimeter Wave band. In one embodiment, the BS allocates resources for one or more transmit time intervals in at least one of DL allocation interval of a secondary DL carrier and UL allocation interval of a secondary UL carrier for the MS, where the DL allocation interval spans one or more subframes of the secondary DL carrier and the UL allocation interval spans one or more subframes of the secondary UL carrier. The BS then transmits information regarding the allocated resources to the MS in a Packet Data Control Channel region of a subframe of the primary DL carrier.

摘要: A method and an apparatus of cooperating with a plurality of base stations in a wireless communication system. A cloud cell is configured with a plurality of base stations that cooperate with each other for a mobile station and synchronizes user contexts for serving the mobile station among the plurality of base stations included in the cloud cell, and the plurality of base stations cooperate with each other to provide a communication service to the mobile station. The present disclosure reduces generation of a handover when the mobile station moves between base stations, and increases the data yield of the mobile station by transmitting and receiving data in cooperation with base stations in a cloud cell at a shaded area or a cell border.

摘要: A system and method for use in a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) is disclosed. The method for performing a discovery transmission on a second carrier by a user equipment (UE) served by a primary cell (PCell) on a first carrier, includes receiving, from a base station, a signaling indicating that the UE read discovery resource configuration for the second carrier on the second carrier or that the UE should request the discovery resource configuration for the second carrier from the base station for acquiring the discovery resource configuration for the second carrier. The method also includes acquiring the discovery resource configuration based on the signaling.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as a Long Term Evolution (LTE). The various embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and system for enabling device-to-device (D2D) discovery message transmission in a wireless communication network. The method comprises of identifying, by a D2D communication user equipment (UE), one or more carriers for transmission of one or more D2D discovery messages, determining, one or more discovery resources for transmission of one or more D2D discovery messages on the one or more identified carriers and transmitting the one or more D2D discovery messages on the one or more identified carriers.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for monitoring device-to-device (D2D) transmission in a connected state in a communication system supportive of a D2D scheme are provided. The method includes monitoring, by a D2D user equipment (UE), a D2D transmission during a D2D resource cycle and a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle in a radio resource control (RRC) state, transmitting an indication including a capability of the UE to a base station, and reestablishing an RRC connection from the base station, wherein the D2D resource cycle and the DRX cycle are configured not to overlap each other based on the indication.
