    Abstract: A display device with an imaging function is provided. A high-resolution imaging device or display device is provided. The display device includes first to third switches, first and second transistors, a capacitor, first and second wirings, and a light-emitting and light-receiving element. One electrode of the first switch is electrically connected to the first wiring, and the other electrode is electrically connected to a gate of the first transistor and one electrode of the capacitor. One electrode of the second switch is electrically connected to one of a source and a drain of the first transistor, one electrode of the light-emitting and light-receiving element, and the other electrode of the capacitor, and the other electrode of the second switch is electrically connected to a gate of the second transistor and one electrode of the third switch. The other electrode of the third switch is electrically connected to the second wiring. The light-emitting and light-receiving element has a function of emitting light of a first color and a function of receiving light of a second color.

    Abstract: A display device which exhibits light with high color purity is provided. A display device with low power consumption is provided. An embodiment is a display device which includes a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, a light-emitting layer, a common electrode, a first protective layer, and a semi-transmissive layer. The light-emitting layer includes a first region positioned over the first pixel electrode and a second region positioned over the second pixel electrode. The common electrode is positioned over the light-emitting layer. The first protective layer is positioned over the common electrode. The semi-transmissive layer is positioned over the first protective layer. Reflectivity with respect to visible light of the semi-transmissive layer is higher than reflectivity with respect to visible light of the common electrode. The semi-transmissive layer does not overlap with the first region and overlaps with the second region. For example, the semi-transmissive layer may include an opening in a position overlapping with the first region.

    Abstract: A highly safe vehicle control device is provided. The vehicle control device includes an operation unit, a light-emitting and light-receiving unit, and a control unit. The operation unit includes a steering wheel including a rim, a hub, and a spoke. The rim is connected to the hub through the spoke. The light-emitting and light-receiving unit is provided along a surface of the rim. The first light-emitting element has a function of emitting light with a first wavelength range. The first light-receiving element has a function of receiving the light with the first wavelength range and converting it into an electrical signal. The first light-emitting element and the first light-receiving element are arranged on the same plane. The light-emitting and light-receiving unit has a function of sequentially outputting received-light data to the control unit. The control unit has a function of obtaining biological information of a driver from a plurality of received-light data and executing processing corresponding to the biological information.

    Abstract: A high-resolution display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a first to a fourth subpixels continuously lined up in this order, where the first and second subpixels emit light of a first color and the third and fourth subpixels emit light of a second color. The first color and the second color are different from each other. The first subpixel includes a first light-emitting device and a first coloring layer overlapping with the first light-emitting device; the second subpixel includes a second light-emitting device and the first coloring layer overlapping with the second light-emitting device; the third subpixel includes a third light-emitting device and a second coloring layer overlapping with the third light-emitting device; and the fourth subpixel includes a fourth light-emitting device and the second coloring layer overlapping with the fourth light-emitting device. The first to fourth light-emitting devices emit light of one color and are driven independently. Light transmitted through the first coloring layer and light transmitted through the second coloring layer exhibit different colors from each other.

Stacked substrates in each of which a sufficiently thin substrate and a relatively thick support substrate are stacked are used as substrates. One surface of the thin substrate of one of the stacked substrates is provided with a layer including a touch sensor, and one surface of the thin substrate of the other stacked substrate is provided with a layer including a display element. After the two stacked substrates are attached to each other so that the touch sensor and the display element face each other, the support substrate and the thin substrate of each stacked substrate are separated from each other.
