摘要： A liquid crystal device has a structure in which an electric field is applied across a liquid crystal in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of a substrate. A conductive film is formed on a first substrate on which an electric field control is provided, and also on a color filter substrate located opposite the first substrate, and the conductive films are maintained at either a ground voltage, a common electrode voltage, the center voltage of an image signal, a non-selection voltage of a scanning signal, or a logic voltage of an external driver or otherwise the voltage of the conductive films is maintained in a floating state. The liquid crystal device having the above structure displays a high-quality image without encountering an influence of electrostatic charges.

摘要： The present invention relates to a tape application device for applying a strip form adhesive tape along a tape application surface formed on a work, with removing from a release liner. The tape application device includes a roller supporting shaft fixed to a body at both ends, a roller rotatably mounted on the roller supporting shaft and wrapped thereover an adhesive tape, locating elements mounted on the main body and engaging with the body for movement along a tape application surface so that the roller is depressed onto the tape application surface, a tape guide plate hinged on the sub-body at the base end portion for pivoting, and fixing elements for fixing the tape guide plate so that a gap portion between the tape guide plate and the roller is defined for guiding the adhesive tape with the release liner. According to the present invention, the adhesive tape can be accurately attached onto the tape application surface without requiring qualified worker.

摘要： A full-circumferential flow pump has a circumferential fluid passage between a sheet metal pump casing and a motor provided in the pump casing. The full-circumferential flow pump comprises a suction-side casing having a suction nozzle, and an outer cylinder connected to the suction-side casing and accommodating the canned motor therein. The suction-side casing and the outer cylinder have flanges, respectively extending radially outwardly from an open ends thereof. The adjacent flanges of the suction-side casing and the outer cylinder are clamped by clamping flanges to connect the suction-side casing and the outer cylinder.

摘要： A portable motor pump of the type in which a pump section driven by a motor is installed inside a liquid chamber, with a discharge port of the pump section being opened into the liquid chamber, and in which water which is to be pumped is led from the outside of the liquid chamber to a suction port of the pump section and the pumped water is discharged from the liquid chamber to the outside is disclosed. The liquid chamber is defined by a motor pump body, a pump outer casing outwardly spaced from and surrounding the motor pump body, a motor head cover covering an upper opening of the pump outer casing and a bottom plate covering a lower opening of the pump outer casing. A circulating water suction port for self-priming of the motor pump is opened into the liquid chamber. A suction port which communicates with the suction port of the pump section and a discharge port for discharging the pumped water to the outside are provided in the motor head cover.

摘要： A cyclonic separator and a vacuum cleaner which efficiently separates dust, collect the dust without re-scattering it and make low noise are provided. In a primary cyclone portion 10, a primary swirl chamber 12 swirls air containing dust sucked from a primary inlet 11, and thereby, separates a first dust and a second dust from the air containing dust to collect them respectively in a zero-order dust case 114 which is provided at a side of the primary swirl chamber 12 and communicates with a zero-order opening portion 113 provided at a side wall, and a primary dust case 14 provided at a lower side of the primary swirl chamber 12. In a secondary cyclone portion 20, a secondary inlet 21 with an opening area smaller than that of a primary outlet body 15 sucks air exhausted from the primary outlet body 15, a secondary swirl chamber 22 swirls the first air to separate the second dust which is finer than the first dust from the first air to collect the second dust in a secondary dust case 24 provided at a lower side of the secondary swirl chamber 12. With regard to the cyclonic separator with such a configuration, the zero-order dust case 114 is formed to cover at least a part of the secondary cyclone portion 20.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device, without light leakage in a black display mode, is provided. The liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes a LCD panel, a light source, and an optical filter between the LCD and the light source. When the LCD panel is in the black display mode without the optical filter, leakage light leaking from the LCD panel in an oblique direction shows a hue having a local minimum value in a wavelength range from 450 nm to 550 nm. Normal incident light entering into the LCD in a normal direction shows a hue same as that of light just emitted from the light source, and oblique incident light entering into the LCD panel in an oblique direction shows a hue having a local maximum value in a wavelength range from 400 nm to less than 550 nm.
