摘要: An assembly of electrodes suitably for use in electrochemical processes, comprising a plurality of elongated conductive elements as electrodes arranged substantially in parallel in a vertical plane and spaced apart from each other. At least one elongated non-conductive element is interposed between every two adjacent conductive elements. Preferably, both the conductive and non-conductive elements are flexible and the assembly comprises a base fabric of non-conductive material and a plurality of conductive elements incorporated in said base fabric.

摘要: There is provided a bellows for a pressure vessel that would not rupture due to thermal expansion and contraction, avoiding stagnation of a raw material. The bellows 40 for a pressure vessel is adapted to realize ring-shaped sealing between an open end 11 of a bottomed tubular vessel body 10 into which a raw material is caused to flow, and an outer peripheral portion of a dispersion board 30 closing the open end 11 so as to permit downflow of the raw material toward the bottom of the vessel body 10. The bellows 40 is provided with a flexure portion 41 flexing radially so as to permit thermal expansion and contraction without being depressed for avoiding of stagnation of the raw material. The flexure portion 41 has a concave curved surface 42 and a convex curved surface 43 which are continuously formed to have a wave shape.

摘要: A clubhead measuring gauge comprises a fixed base capable of rotating and adjusting its position along a circumference and fixing a protractor; an adjustable measuring base for mounting the protractor and allowing the protractor to shift its position in an increasing or decreasing angle; and an assistant measuring base having a standard side. All of the foregoing components are coupled to a base having a flat horizontal surface. By means of the protractor of the adjustable measuring base, the face angle of golfclubs can be adjusted to match the measuring angle of the measurement, and thus reducing the error and improving precision. Further, the fixed base is rotated to the left or right to attach the sole of the golfclub with the horizontal surface of the base for the measurement of the angles of golfclubs.

摘要: A liquid crystal light valve includes a semiconductor substrate having a region for a plurality of switching elements formed in a matrix form. A first metal layer is formed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate through an insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by first slits. A second metal layer is formed on the first metal layer through another insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by second slits. A third metal layer is formed on the second metal layer through still another insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by third slits. An opposite substrate has an opposite electrode on a surface thereof, disposed so as to be opposite to said third metal layer through an interval on the opposite electrode side. Liquid crystal fills the interval between said opposite electrode and the third metal layer.

摘要: A liquid crystal display apparatus having a light conductor plate, a liquid crystal cell arranged on a front surface side of the light conductor plate, and a light source arranged on a side surface of the light conductor plate so as to light the liquid crystal cell from a back surface side thereof. The light conductor plate has an incident surface for a light from the light source, a light emitting surface for emitting the input light to the liquid crystal cell, and a plurality of dots constituted by small projecting portions or small recess portions for changing a moving direction of the light from the incidence surface toward a direction of the light emitting surface. The dots are formed in at least one of the light emitting surface and a surface of the light conductor plate opposite to the light emitting surface and have a particular configuration.

摘要: There are disclosed an apparatus and a method for chemical vapor deposition for a semiconductor film and the like, wherein a feed gas is supplied in a horizontal tubular reactor in the direction parallel to a substrate; a forcing gas is supplied therein in the direction perpendicular to the substrate; and the flow rate per unit area of the forcing gas which is supplied from a forcing gas introduction portion into the reactor is made lower in the central portion of the forcing gas introduction portion than in the peripheral portion thereof, or lower in the middle of a feed gas passageway than at both the end portions of the passageway. It is made possible by the apparatus and method to assure high quality crystals without generating a deposit of decomposed products or reaction products on a tubular reactor wall in opposition to the substrate even in the case of carrying out chemical vapor deposition of a large-sized substrate or simultaneously conducting that of a plurality of substrates, or performing the same at a high temperature.
