Abstract:
The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for performing a connected device-based property evaluation. In one example, system operations include identifying a construction schedule associated with a particular property, the construction schedule including at least one construction event for the property. A disbursement schedule associated with the construction schedule and the property are identified, wherein the disbursement schedule defines construction events that trigger at least a partial disbursement of funds associated with the construction. Connected devices associated with the property are associated to one or more of the construction events, and a set of data characteristics associated with the one or more connected devices are defined that correspond to particular construction events. Outputs from the connected devices are then monitored during construction, and, in response to a determination that the monitored outputs match the defined data characteristics corresponding to particular construction events, a corresponding fund disbursement is initiated.
Abstract:
The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for generating a virtual or augmented reality-based oversight system of business processes at a location remote from where the business process is executed. In one example, system operations include identifying a process-based operation performed at a physical first location, where the operation is associated with a request for oversight from a remote second location. A current state of the operation at the first location is identified, and at least one input source at the first location is identified. A simulation of the current state of the operation at the first location incorporating input from the input source(s) is generated for presentation at the second location. An action performed at the first location in the current state of the operation is identified, and the second location is then transmitted a request to authorize the identified action.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include computerized systems and methods for generating secured blockchain-based ledger data structures that track an ownership and usage of one or more assets, such as Internet-connected devices. In one instance, an apparatus associated with a rules authority of the secured blockchain-based ledger may detect an occurrence of a triggering event, and may access and decrypt a set of rules hashed into the secured blockchain-based ledger using a confidentially-held master cryptographic key. The apparatus may identify a rule associated with the detected event, and perform one or more operations consistent with the rule, including a determination of metrics indicative of a care, risk, and/or valuation of one or more of the Internet-connected devices, and additionally or alternatively, a modification of an operational or communicative functionality of the Internet-connected devices.
Abstract:
A method of effecting an incentive transaction involves a computer server receiving a transaction notification message that identifies a financial transaction. The server is in communication with a database of incentive plans, each comprising a plan definition that defines an incentive transaction to be transacted with an incentive account. Each plan is associated with plan participants by participant identifiers. Each participant identifier is uniquely associated with their plan participant. The incentive account is jointly associated with the plurality of plan participants. The notification message includes a product code and the participant identifier of one plan participant. The server identifies an incentive plan applicable to the financial transaction from a correlation with the participant identifier, determines an incentive amount from the product code and the incentive plan definition of the applicable incentive plan, and initiates the incentive transaction for the incentive amount with the incentive account of the applicable incentive plan.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing tokenized transaction accounts. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method is provided that may include generating, by one or more processors, a first tokenized transaction account from a first transaction account associated with a first user. The method may also include providing the first tokenized transaction account to a client device associated with the first user for storage in the client device and use in transactions. The method may also include updating the first tokenized transaction account based on one or more conditions and providing the updated first tokenized transaction account to the client device for storage and use in a subsequent transaction.
Abstract:
A processor receives a signal representing data including event information detailing an event involving an entity having a registered ownership interest in a product and loads a portion of a distributed electronic ledger for tracking ownership information associated with the product. The distributed electronic ledger includes, within a block thereof and associated with the product, an event trigger list including entity data associated with each entity having a registered ownership interest in the product and a rules engine including rules associated with event triggers in the event trigger list. The processor determines whether a triggering event corresponding to the event is stored in the event trigger list and, when the event has a corresponding triggering event, determines the associated rule within the rules engine. The processor updates and saves the distributed electronic ledger by performing an action specified by the determined associated rule.
Abstract:
A system has a storage medium encoded with program instructions, and a processor coupled to access the program instructions. The instructions configure the processor for: receiving a first request at a POS terminal to surrender a previously purchased first asset in exchange for at least a portion of a second asset that was used to purchase the first asset, receiving the private key from the first asset; accessing a set of rules stored in a distributed electronic ledger, the set of rules specifying conditions associated with the first request; transmitting an authorization to return the at least a portion of the second asset in exchange for surrender of the first asset, in the case where the conditions are satisfied; and invalidating the first request in the case where one or more of the conditions are not satisfied.
Abstract:
A system comprises a non-transitory machine readable storage medium storing instructions and a database identifying a plurality of assets and a state of each asset. The instructions configure a processor for receiving updates to a distributed electronic ledger managed by plural peer processors. Each update includes an event or change affecting one of the assets. The peer processors verify portions of the ledger describing each event or change. At least one of the updates has not yet been recorded in the ledger at a time of the receiving. The processor computes a state of each asset, based on the updates, receives a request for a state of one of the assets; and responds to the request, reflecting each event and change affecting that asset. The response is performed without waiting for the peer processors to verify an update that has not yet been recorded in the ledger.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that provide mobile application programs to devices of users and that administer these mobile application programs using tokens “pre-loaded” with data. In one aspect, the disclosed embodiments may generate a mobile payment product, such as a mobile wallet, that is “pre-loaded” with eligible financial products. For example, the disclosed embodiments may receive a request from a user device to obtain an application program that administers the mobile wallet, and in response to the received request, may obtain information identifying one or more financial products eligible for inclusion in the mobile wallet. The disclosed embodiments may generate a mobile wallet token based on the eligible financial product information and store the mobile wallet token in cloud-based storage. The user device may, upon authenticating the user, obtain the mobile wallet token and provision the mobile wallet with the eligible financial products.
Abstract:
A method for managing transfer of data over a network to a recipient system is disclosed. The method is implemented at a database management system that stores a schedule of data transfers associated with records in a database. The method includes: receiving a signal representing an electronic message from a third party system, the electronic message including details of a first scheduled data transfer to a first record in the database at a first transfer time; obtaining details of a second scheduled data transfer from the first record to the recipient system; determining that an effect on the first record by the first and second scheduled data transfers meets stored predefined criteria; updating the schedule of data transfers to change a second transfer time associated with the second scheduled data transfer; and initiating the second scheduled data transfer according to the updated schedule of data transfers.
