摘要: An image display device includes an image display unit, a capacitance type touch panel that is disposed on the surface of the image display unit, and a signal processing unit that outputs to a control unit a position signal corresponding to a pressed position on the touch panel or a signal corresponding to the distance between the touch panel and a finger based on the capacitance between the touch panel and the finger. When the approach of the finger to the touch panel is detected, sensitivity is lowered and a menu button is displayed. When the finger moves while pressing the menu button, a menu area and a menu icon are displayed. Accordingly, it is easy to operate the touch panel which is applied to a vehicle-mounted apparatus and it is easy to see a display screen.

摘要: A liquid ejection head has a plurality of liquid ejection ports 10 and a plurality of gas jet ports 11 that are arranged alternately. The liquid droplets ejected from the liquid ejection ports 10 are prevented from colliding with each other and can maintain a uniform particle size distribution as gas is jetted out from the gas jet ports 11 in a direction same as the direction in which liquid droplets are ejected from the liquid ejection ports 10.

摘要: In a resource plan creating apparatus and method, a resource plan is created based on a compatibility value between a task and computer hardware and a performance value acquired by an acquiring unit. An estimated load fluctuation value of each service tree is detected from an estimation waveform of load fluctuation of each service tree and an optimizing process is executed using the compatibility value and the estimation waveform of load fluctuation.

摘要: A disclosed optical scanning device includes a light source unit configured to emit a laser beam; an oscillating mirror configured to deflect the laser beam from the light source unit; a scanning/imaging optical system configured to focus the deflected laser beam on a target surface; and plural light-receiving elements configured to receive the laser beam in a scanning area of the laser beam, the position of the oscillating mirror being adjusted such that time intervals between output pulses in output signals of the respective light-receiving elements become substantially the same between the light-receiving elements and/or widths of the output pulses become substantially the same between the light-receiving elements.

摘要: In a communication system, a first communication apparatus includes: an application data generating unit for generating application data including data at an application level and a priority at the application level; and a lower-level packet generating unit disposed therein for generating a packet by adding to the application data a header including a destination address and a source address at a level lower than the application level. A first relay apparatus includes: a priority identifying unit disposed therein for determining whether or not a priority is set in the application data of the packet received by the first relay apparatus, and thereby identifying a first priority at the application level; and a priority control unit disposed therein for renewing a TOS field value in the header of the packet, the header being at the level lower than the application level, on the basis of the first priority.

摘要: A computer-readable medium storing a computer program for controlling relay of a client request from a client terminal to a server. The computer program includes instructions for causing a computer to execute determining a process corresponding to the client request, based on both an allowable waiting time for which the client terminal allows to wait for a response corresponding to the client request from the server and on a capacity of the server, and processing the client request, based on a result of the determination.
