摘要: A method of operating a user equipment comprises addressing multi-subcarrier system resources using multiple different numerologies available within a single carrier, the multiple different numerologies comprising a first numerology having resource blocks (RBs) with a first bandwidth and a first subcarrier spacing, Δf1, and a second numerology having RBs with a second bandwidth and a second subcarrier spacing, Δf2, which is different from Δf1, wherein the first numerology is aligned in the frequency domain relative to a frequency reference, Fref, according to m*Δf1+Fref and the second numerology is aligned in the frequency domain relative to the frequency reference, Fref, according to n*Δf2+Fref, where m and n are integers. The method further comprises transmitting and/or receiving information within the single carrier according to the at least one of the multiple different numerologies.

摘要: Methods performed by a wireless device operating in a dormant mode comprise performing a measurement on each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources or demodulating and decoding information from each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources, such as a set of beams. The methods further include evaluating the measurement or the demodulated and decoded information for each of the plurality of resources against a predetermined criterion, and then discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements, or discontinuing the demodulating and decoding and evaluation of information, in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met, such that one or more resources in the predetermined set of resources are neither measured nor demodulated and decoded. The methods further comprise deactivating receiver circuitry, further in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met.

摘要: A network node and a wireless device for operation in a wireless communication network, wherein it is determined that a second scheduling bandwidth is needed, based on an amount or type of data buffered for transmission to the wireless device. Reconfiguration of a receiver bandwidth of the wireless device is initiated to match the second scheduling bandwidth, wherein the second scheduling bandwidth is larger than a first scheduling bandwidth currently associated with the wireless device, and wherein the rust and second scheduling bandwidths respectively define the bandwidth used for scheduling transmissions to the wireless device. Methods and computer programs therefor are also disclosed.

摘要: A method of a wireless device comprises determining a bandwidth for monitoring a downlink control signal, determining a set of possible downlink control indicator, DCI, formats, wherein possible DCI formats are DCI formats compatible with the determined bandwidth, receiving a transmission from a network node, searching for control information in the transmission by decoding using at least one of the DCI formats of the set, and when successful decoding of the control information, performing at least one task associated with the control information. A method of a network node, comprises configuring a downlink bandwidth to be used at downlink transmissions, determining a DCI format based on the downlink bandwidth, and transmitting control information using a DCI with the determined DCI format. A wireless device and a network node which are arranged to perform the methods, respectively, and computer programs for implementing the methods are disclosed.

摘要: Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes receiving a downlink signal comprising an uplink access configuration index, using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among a predetermined plurality of uplink access configurations, and transmitting to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. The example method further includes, in the same wireless device, receiving, in a first subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology. Variants of this method, corresponding apparatuses, and corresponding network-side methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.

摘要: A wireless device receives, from a network node, an uplink grant for each of one or more cells, where at least one of the received uplink grants indicates a first number of downlink assignments by the network node to the wireless device. The wireless device selects, as a first cell, one of the one or more cells responsive to the at least one received uplink grant indicating the first number of downlink assignments. The wireless device then transmits Uplink Control Information (UCI) via the first cell. The UCI comprises a first number of ACK/NACK bits defined by the first number of downlink assignments.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a user equipment, UE, is operable for multiple sub-carrier spacing values. The UE comprises memory operable to store instructions and processing circuitry operable to execute the instructions, whereby the UE is operable to determine one of a plurality of time-domain resource allocation tables based on first information received from a network node. The first information comprises a Radio Network Temporary Identifier, RNTI. The UE is operable to determine a time-domain resource allocated to the UE for transmission or reception of a wireless signal based on the determined one of the plurality of time-domain resource allocation tables and second information received from the network node. The second information comprises a time-domain resource allocation field value received in downlink control information, DCI. The UE is further operable to transmit or receive the wireless signal using the determined time-domain resource.
