The user equipment (910) is configured to determine, for a data transmission, a mapping form a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) to a PNT-RS. A DMRS resulting signal is generated from a subset of DMRS for a first resource element in a subcarrier. The DMRS resulting signal is copied from the first resource element to a second resource element assigned to PNT-RS in the subcarrier. The data transmission is transmitted using the DMRS resulting signal and the PNT-RS.

摘要: A radio node (14) is configured to perform frequency offset estimation. The radio node (14) in this regard receives a first set (22-1) of reference symbols of a reference signal during respective time resources, and determines a first frequency offset estimate (26-1) using the first set (22-1) of reference symbols. The radio node (14) also receives a second set (22-2) of 5 reference symbols of the reference signal during respective time resources, e.g., using the same local oscillator frequency for down conversion as with the first set (22-1). The radio node (14) further determines, based on the first frequency offset estimate (26-1), a second frequency offset estimate (26-2) using the second set (22-2) of reference symbols. In some embodiments, the radio node (14) determines a third frequency offset estimate as a sum of the first and 10 second frequency offset estimates, and tunes a local oscillator frequency, or performs frequency offset compensation, based on the third frequency offset estimate.

摘要: A radio node (12, 14) is configured to transmit or receive reference symbols (18) of a reference signal (16) on respective radio resources, including first and second sets (S1, S2) of radio resources that differ in at least one radio resource. The reference signal (16) may be for instance a tracking reference signal (16) configured for time or frequency tracking. The first set (S1) of radio resources includes a first pair of radio resources that are separated from one another in a radio resource domain by a first separation distance (D1). The second set (S2) of radio resources includes a second pair of radio resources that are separated from one another in the radio resource domain by a second separation distance (D2). The radio resource domain may be a time domain or a frequency domain. In one or more embodiments, the second separation distance (D2) is at least twice as large as the first separation distance (D1).

摘要: Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes receiving a downlink signal comprising an uplink access configuration index, using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among a predetermined plurality of uplink access configurations, and transmitting to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. The example method further includes, in the same wireless device, receiving, in a first subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology. Variants of this method, corresponding apparatuses, and corresponding network-side methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.
