摘要: A nonlinear electrical circuit dynamic model for different fuel cells is provided. The model provides a nonlinear electrical circuit equivalent, the parameters of which correspond to the particular fuel cell being modeled. The parameters can be theoretically or experimentally derived from the responses of the particular fuel cell. The resulting model can have impedances that are equivalent to that of the particular fuel cell, thereby capturing or providing a good approximation of the transient behavior of the particular fuel cell. More particularly, the resulting model can have impedances in the low frequency range less than 100 Hz that are equivalent to that of the particular fuel cell.

摘要: In a method and magnetic resonance (MR apparatus for reducing aliasing artifacts in the imaging for MR-monitored high intensity focused ultrasound HIFU therapy, a primary coil is used to receive the MR signals, and an additional coil is provided to receive interfering MR signals that form aliasing artifacts in the MR-monitored HIFU therapy imaging. The MR signals received by the primary coil and the interfering MR signals received by the additional coil are concurrently acquired. The interfering MR signals received by the additional coil are removed from the MR signals received by the primary coil. MR images are generated based on the MR signals with the interfering MR signals removed. Aliasing artifacts caused by the interfering MR signals thus are removed from the MR images without reducing the resolution of the scanned body parts in the MR images. In addition, the MR scanning time can be—maintained by using a proper phase oversampling technology in the concurrent signal acquisition.

摘要: Broadly speaking, the present invention fills the need of selecting correlated advertisements for displaying to users by utilizing the advertisement-viewing data collected on users of a web site. The advertisement-viewing (ad-viewing) data of users of a web site can be correlated to extract similarities and patterns of ads being viewed by users of the web site. The correlated ad-viewing data of all users of the web site, along with URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) of ads viewed by a particular user, can be used to select advertisements that are likely to be interests to the particular user. Ad-viewing data correlation allows the web site to select ads to display to users in real-time based on users' latest ad-viewing data. Since selection of ads to display is based on mathematical calculation using a correlation table of ad-viewing that has been generated ahead of time, the method can be scaled to meet demands of a large amount of users, such as millions. In addition to ad-viewing correlation table and users' latest ad-viewing data, advertisement pool of advertisements paid by advertisers is also taken into consideration during the ad-selection process.

摘要: Combined desorption and ionization sources are provided to generate molecular ions form a sample disposed on a substrate surface. A heated gas-jet probe or heated solvent stream probe desorbs sample molecules into the gas phase. The desorbed sample molecules are ionized by reaction between the sample molecule and charged solvent droplets. The charged solvent droplets may be produced by electrospray probe or by a corona discharge. The combined desorption and ionization sources coupled by a vacuum interface to a mass spectrometer, where the sample molecule ions can be analyzed.
