    Abstract: The invention relates to a compressed air motor comprising a housing and a rotor rotatably mounted therein, the rotor being provided with substantially radial slots and plate-like vanes being mounted in the slots so as to be radially displaceable by the centrifugal force, and variable, all-round air chambers being formed between the housing and the outside of the rotor. The vanes are surrounded on the outside by a rotatable sleeve which is provided with at least one passage for the compressed air.

    Abstract: A rangefinder apparatus with an optoelectronic arrangement for determining a height profile of an object. The apparatus has a transmitter that emits light rays, a deflection unit that deflects the transmitted light rays and guides them over the surface of an object to be measured, and a receiver that receives light rays reflected from the object. The deflection unit includes a transmitting optic arranged downstream of the transmitter and an actuator which moves the transmitting optic to periodically deflect the transmitted light. A receiving optic is arranged in front of the receiver at a distance from the transmitting optic so that the beam axis of the transmitting light rays penetrates the transmitting optic and the beam axis of the received light rays that penetrate the receiving optic extend at a distance to each other. An evaluation unit is provided which determines the height profile of the object from the range values calculated from the reflected light rays and associated deflection angles for the transmitted light rays.

    Abstract: In a gas supply pipe section, an asynchronous motor generator unit is provided in a pipe section consisting of a single supply pipe upstream (at the high pressure side) and adjacent to a separating wall including nozzles for the decompression of the gas. The motor/generator unit includes a shaft which carries downstream (at the low pressure side) of a separating wall adjacent the nozzles at least one bladed turbine wheel which is of lightweight design and is driven by the gas flow. Means are provided for conducting away the electric energy generated during generator operation of the asynchronous motor and for feeding it into an energy supply net. Also, a control unit is provided which supplies a control signal to a safety valve disposed upstream of the asynchronous motor/generator unit for controlling the gas supply to the pipe section when the speed of the shaft exceeds a critical speed value.
