摘要: The invention relates to microcapsules consisting of a polymer degradable by a polypeptide comprising a drug or other compound of interest and a genetically engineered cell expressing said polypeptide in response to a triggering compound, and to methods of directed release of the compound of interest. The preferred polymer is optionally modified cellulose sulfate/poly-diallyl-dimethyl-ammonium chloride. Such microcapsules are non-toxic, do not elicit an immunological response and have an extended half-life time in mammals. The expression system for cellulase is, for example, based on TET and doxycycline, or E.REX and erythromycin. In another example, expression of cellulase is triggered by luteinizing hormone, which can be used for artificial insemination with microcapsules carrying sperm.

摘要: An injection device for a syringe, having a syringe body, a cannula with a needle, a plunger with a plunger rod, and an injection carriage for displacing the syringe body and the plunger, comprises at least one actuating element that acts on the injection carriage to carry out the injection procedure. The actuating element (120, 220, 320) cooperates with components which withdraw the needle (108, 208, 308) from the puncture site once the injection procedure has been completed, using a return stroke (H3) that is applied to the injection carriage. A single, targeted linear movement inserts the needle to a defined depth, injects the medicament and, once the injection has been completed, produces a return stroke which allows the needle to be withdrawn into the housing and thus out from the puncture site.

摘要: A rotational damper comprises a stator and a rotor that is rotatably supported in the stator, the rotor having a first friction element (31, 31 A . . . 31 F), wherein the volume between the stator and the rotor is filled with a viscous fluid. According to the invention, the rotor has a second friction element (32, 32A . . . 32F), which is supported coaxially in relation to the first friction element and rotationally coupled thereto, and which can be axially displaced relative to the first friction element. Due to the two-piece design of the friction element and the ability for axial displacement of the two friction elements, the entire effective surface of the friction element in the viscous fluid, and thus the frictional resistance and the damping characteristics of the rotational damper, can be varied. For this purpose, the second friction element preferably comprises a plurality of segments (5, 5A . . . 5F), which immerse into the first friction element and can be displaced by means of an actuator (4, 4A . . . 4G). These segments bring about the rotational coupling of the two friction elements. In this manner, continuous adjustment of the damping torque can occur across a broad range using simple means, in order to meet the diverse requirements in terms of size and type of rotational damping in various applications, using only one model.

The injection device is advantageously equipped with additional components which produce a delay (TV) between the completion of the injection stroke (H2) and the start of the return stroke (H3). The advantage of said delay is that the pressure that has been produced in the subcutaneous tissue by the injection of the medicament can subside before the needle is withdrawn, thus preventing to a great extent the penetration of the medicament into the insertion channel of the needle. A volume adapter (410) can advantageously be used to predetermine the injection stroke (H2) and thus the quantity of a medicament that is administered during the course of the injection stroke (H2).

摘要: An injection device that is used with a syringe, wherein the injection needle of the syringe is initially introduced into the skin and the injection fluid is injected afterwards. The injection device is essentially driven and controlled by a control sleeve (6) which can be displaced and/or rotated in relation to the housing (7) and which can be moved between a closing and functional position (P1) and an open and safety position (P2). In the closing and functional position, the control sleeve prevents access to the syringe and activates a release device for the injection process. In the open and safety position, a syringe (1) can be removed or inserted. A plurality of components carrying out the injection process (a slide (2) in which the syringe (1) is placed and a plunger (4) that impinges upon the syringe piston) are moved or controlled depending on the movement and position of the control sleeve or supported (for example, an ejection device for the syringe or a signaling device informing that injection has been completed). The device enables full-automatic injection that can be reliably carried out by patients themselves with few handling procedures.

摘要: A method is provided for manufacturing interlocking parts, in which at least one part is manufactured by powder injection molding. To compensate for the amount of contraction of one of the parts manufactured by powder injection molding and, if desired, to produce an additional clearance, a separation layer of plastic material is applied between the interlocking parts. After the injection process to form the separation layer, the separation layer and the binder are removed by a binder-removing and sintering process step. The method is also applicable to powdered metal extrusion for manufacture of double-layered metal parts.

摘要: The fixing element for fixing a mat to a floor part in a vehicle consists of a bottom part anchorable to the floor part to which the mat is to be secured and a top part having a clamping device and securable to the mat via the clamping device. The top part and the bottom part each have a disk-shaped flange with a coupling face. The coupling faces of the disk-shaped flanges face each other and have a plurality of identical coupling elements which cooperate by interlocking when the top part engages the bottom part. The coupling elements can be rows of pins having heads. The heads of the pins on the top part engage with those on the bottom part when the top part engages with the bottom part.

摘要: An anchoring means for anchoring by a bonding mass in a drilled hole in a concrete part or the like has a threaded bolt with a reduced portion and an expansion cone followed by a head part, forming at the same time a stop shoulder. Over the reduced portion and expansion cone is slipped an anchoring sleeve which is provided on its outer surface with a plurality of longitudinal grooves. By the longitudinal grooves and the elasticity of the anchoring sleeve consisting of plastics material, the possibility is obtained of compensating for the enlargement of the drilled hole when a crack forms, thus making it possible for the anchoring means to be used in the zone subject to tensile forces.
