摘要: Methods for consistently reproducing channels of small length are disclosed. An ink composition comprising silver nanoparticles and a surface modification agent is used. The surface modification agent may also act as a stabilizer for the nanoparticles. A first line is printed which forms a modified region around the first line. A second line is printed, which is repelled from the modified region. As a result, a channel between the first line and the second line is formed.

摘要: A method of text extraction in color compound documents is described. The method connects similarly colored pixels of an image of a color compound document into connected components (CCs); classifies each CC as either text or non-text; refines the text CC classification for each text CC using global color context statistics; groups text CCs into text blocks; recovers misclassified non-text CCs into a nearby text block; and removes extraneous CCs from each text block using local color context statistics to thereby provide the extracted text in the text blocks. Also described is a method of locating graphics objects in a color compound document image.

摘要: A method for monitoring a lithium-ion battery cell includes monitoring a battery cell voltage and a corresponding charge capacity of the battery cell during an electric power event which may include either an electric power charge event or an electric power discharge event. A measured charge-capacity-derivative is determined by differentiating the charge capacity in relation to the corresponding battery cell voltage during the electric power event. The measured charge-capacity-derivative is compared with a preferred anode charge-capacity-derivative of an anode charge curve (for electric power discharge events) or an anode discharge curve (for electric power charge events), and with a preferred cathode charge-capacity-derivative of a cathode charge curve (for electric power charge events) or a cathode discharge charge curve (for electric power discharge events). A first state of health parameter of the battery cell corresponding to the comparison of the measured charge-capacity-derivative with the preferred anode charge-capacity-derivative of the anode curve is determined. And, a second state of health parameter of the battery cell corresponding to the comparison of the measured charge-capacity-derivative with the preferred cathode charge-capacity-derivative of the cathode curve is determined.

摘要: A drug composition for treating chronic liver diseases, consists of: Astragalus Astragalosides and Glycyrrhiza Acid by weight ratio of 3˜6:1. By testing and validating with classic animal model, the results confirmed that the drug composition of the present invention can significantly reduce the collagen content of rat liver, and reduce liver fibrosis and liver injury, wherein the effect is better than the effect of each component alone. The drug composition of the two components or ingredients can improve the anti-hepatic fibrosis, effectively prevent liver fibrosis and promote the development of liver fibrosis reversal, and thus can be used for the treatment and prevention of various chronic hepatitis, liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and other illnesses.

摘要: Electronic devices, such as organic thin film transistors, with improved mobility are disclosed. The semiconducting layer comprises layers or striations of an organic semiconductor and graphene, including alternating layers/striations of such materials. The organic semiconductor and graphene layers interact well together because both materials form lamellar sheets. The presence of graphene enhances mobility by correcting molecular packing defects in the organic semiconductor layers, and the conductivity of graphene can be controlled. Finally, both materials are flexible, allowing for flexible semiconductor layers and transistors.
