Abstract:
The disclosure discloses a method and system for transmitting a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH). The method includes: in a Carrier Aggregation (CA) scenario, a base station transmits, in a Primary Serving Cell (Pcell) or a Secondary Serving Cell (Scell), a random access trigger message to a User Equipment (UE) (401); the UE transmits, in the Scell, a PRACH (402); and the base station transmits, in the Pcell or an Scell, a random access procedure message to the UE (403). With the disclosure, a PRACH can be transmitted in an Scell in the CA scenario.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for detecting downlink control information, including: when scheduling across carriers is enabled, determining by user equipment (UE) user-specific search space monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) according to component carrier indexes, wherein the component carrier indexes include component carrier indexes corresponding to various component carriers implementing scheduling across carrier and being scheduled across carriers. Also the present invention also provides an apparatus for detecting downlink control information, a user equipment and a network side device. The present invention solve the overlap problem of common search space and user-specific search space in Release 10 and solves the problem of determining a search space for the PDCCH in the situation of scheduling across carriers is enabled in Release 10.
Abstract:
This invention provides devices and methods for detecting an analyte suspected to be present in a sample. The subject devices and methods are particularly useful for performing immunoassays on a variety of analyte, especially those present in a bodily fluid.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and system for mapping a reference signal sequence in an advanced Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, and the method and the system are used to map the reference signal sequence to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbol of l. The method includes: when the system uses a normal cyclic prefix, determining the symbol l according to an expression, and mapping the reference signal sequence to a location of a sub-carrier k on the symbol l of an antenna port p. The system includes: a mapping module, a first acquiring module and a second acquiring module. The system and the method which are provided ensure the transmission performance while ensuring the interference randomization. In addition, the system and the method are compatible with existing LTE systems, thus realizing high-order Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) transmission, supporting the usage of the corresponding techniques.
Abstract:
A power supply system includes a transformer having a primary winding on its primary side for coupling to a power source and one or more secondary windings on its secondary side. A first control circuit is disposed on the primary side of the transformer for controlling a current flow in the primary winding. A second control circuit disposed on the secondary side of the transformer, and the second control circuit is configured to provide a regulated output voltage. In the power supply system, the first control circuit is configured to generate a control signal for controlling the current flow in the primary winding without using a feedback control signal from the secondary side of the transformer.
Abstract:
Driving directions can be helpful if in addition to spatial information, landmark information is provided. Landmarks assist in adding context to directions as well as allowing for a greater likelihood of success of an operator following directions. There can be employment of physical identification of landmarks as well as processing regarding the utility of a landmark in regards to driving directions. Driving directions can be highly useful if integrated landmarks relate to knowledge possessed by an operator of a vehicle. Landmark based driving direction can be integrated with advertisements that relate to the directions.

Abstract:
A semiconductor component having test pads and a method and apparatus for testing the same is described. In an example, an un-bumped substrate is obtained having a pattern of bond pads configured to support bumped contacts and a plurality of test pads. Each of the plurality of test pads is in electrical communication with a respective one of the bond pads. The substrate is tested using the plurality of test pads. In another example, a substrate is fabricated having a pattern of bond pads configured to support bumped contacts and a plurality of test pads. Each of the plurality of test pads is in electrical communication with a respective one of the bond pads. The substrate is tested using the plurality of test pads. An insulating layer is formed over the plurality of test pads.
Abstract:
Impedance matching circuits for optical transmitters are disclosed. In one aspect, an impedance matching circuit may include an equalizer circuit, a resistor coupled between the equalizer circuit and ground, and an electro-absorption modulator or other light intensity modulator coupled in series with the equalizer circuit and coupled in parallel with the resistor. In a further aspect, the equalizer circuit may have an impedance that varies with frequency and may include an inductor, and a second resistor that is coupled in parallel with the inductor. Methods of making and using the impedance matching circuits are also disclosed. Optical transmitters, transceivers, and other systems including the impedance matching circuits are also disclosed.
