    摘要: A semiconductor memory device has a sense amplifier which is constructed with a level shift circuit having an input which senses the change in a data line from an initial precharged level to a level near the vicinity of the supply voltage level which corresponds to data reading amounts from a memory cell during the reading mode of operation of the memory. The level shift circuit, in response to a memory cell reading signals, provides a level shifted output to the input terminal of a differential sense amplifier circuit, the level shifted output being in the vicinity of the operating point of the differential sense amplifier circuit. The level shift circuit includes a current amplifier having an output terminal that is formed with a series connecting node of a current amplifying transistor and a current source.

    摘要: Each memory cell of the memory array has a latch circuit, such as a pair of cross-connected CMOS inverters, for storing information, a first switch MOSFET whose gate is connected with a word line, and a second switch MOSFET which is connected in series with the first switch MOSFET and the gate of which is connected with the output terminal of the latch circuit. The first and second switch MOSFETs are coupled between the data line and a terminal supplied with a first power source voltage level, such as reference ground potential. Such memory cells are disposed at intersections of a plurality of data lines and a plurality of word lines. One of the plurality of data lines is connected with a common data line through a column switch which is alternatively brought into an ON state. Prior to a reading operation, the data lines are precharged to the first power-source voltage level, or ground potential, and the common data line is precharged to a second power-source voltage level, such as the supply voltage of the memory.

    摘要: A creep-inhibiting device for use in an automotive vehicle equipped with a transmission mechanism coupled in series to a fluid coupling and having a frictionally engaging element. Control means interposed between the frictionally engaging element and an operating fluid source controls the power transmission capacity of the frictionally engaging element within a range from substantially zero to a predetermined value in dependence on a signal fluid pressure representative of engine load, to inhibit creeping of the vehicle when the vehicle engine is in a no-load state. The control means has a valve body selectively connecting and disconnecting an input fluid line to and from an output fluid line. A first pressure chamber defined by a first end face of the valve body is supplied with an operating fluid pressure in the output fluid line, while a second pressure chamber defined by a second end face of the valve body is supplied with the signal fluid pressure. A third fluid line having a restriction always connects the input and output fluid lines with each other, and a resilient member urges the valve body in a direction of connecting the input fluid line to the output fluid line. The operating fluid pressure in the output fluid line is allowed to escape through a drain line to a lower pressure zone by an amount corresponding to an amount by which the valve body is biased in a direction of disconnecting the input fluid line from the output fluid line.

    摘要: A manual image scanning system is operative to read image data of figures or letters depicted on a sheet of paper based on manual operation to input them to a personal computer for data processing. The manual image scanning system comprises a data tablet or a digitizer in which magnetostriction pulses propagate, the data tablet being adapted so that a sheet of paper on which a figure is drawn is placed thereon, and a compact manual image scanner adapted to be manually movably placed on the data tablet, the manual image scanner having a first function to recognize the figure drawn on the paper to produce data indicative of image of the figure, and a second function to sense a position of the scanner to produce data indicative of the position of the scanner. The scanning system further comprises high speed image processing circuitry responsive to the image data and the position data from the scanner to compute coordinates of the scanner on the data tablet, thereby recognizing which portion of the data tablet the image data corresponds to. Thus, this system can sufficiently exhibit features provided by the data tablet and the optical figure recognition device.

    摘要: An improved power steering device which has a pinion shaft connected with a steering wheel, a rack rod which is connected with steerable wheels and whose rack is in mesh with the pinion of the pinion shaft in the gear box, a power cylinder for hydraulically actuating the rack rod, and a changeover valve for selectively connecting the first and second hydraulic chambers of the power cylinder with the hydraulic pressure source and the oil reservoir. The pinion shaft is rotatably supported in the oscillating cage which is rotatably mounted on the gear box in a manner such that the axis of the oscillating cage is offset a certain distance from the axis of the pinion shaft, whereby the oscillating cage rotates about its axis when the steering torque is applied to the pinion shaft. The oscillating cage is connected with the changeover valve so that the latter is actuated by the rotary movement of the oscillating cage. With this construction, the changeover valve can be made to respond accurately to the steering torque and at the same time it is possible to reduce the size and simplify the structure of the device.

    摘要: An equalizer comprises a tapped delay line of a transversal filter and first equalizing means responsive to a short pseudo-noise train supplied thereto for adjusting tap gains so as to make the transversal filter output signals simulate a pseudo-noise train generated at the receiver with the pulse pattern of the supplied pseudo-noise train. Larger ones, in absolute values, of the adjusted gains are placed at the center of the delay line. Responsive to a subsequently supplied long pseudo-noise train, second equalizing means self-adaptively adjusts all tap gains. The delay line preferably comprises delay units, each for a half of a common clock interval of the supplied pseudo-noise trains and data signals.
