Abstract:
A button assembly of a dishwasher is provided. The button assembly includes a button portion and a front panel. The button portion has a button head for a user to press and a button body extending down from the button head. A button connecting portion connects a plurality of button bodies, and hence, a plurality of button portions along one piece. The button portion is installed at the rear of the front panel. The front panel has a button window formed therein for inserting the button head therethrough. Because the button portions do not need to be individually mounted using individual springs and fasteners, the assembly process is simplified, and manufacturing cost is reduced.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for surface treatment of nickel particles using an acid solution, comprising mixing a weak acid with a buffer solution to prepare an acid solution having a pH of 2 to 5; mixing the acid solution with nickel particles; and filtering, washing and drying the mixed solution. Nickel particles treated by an embodiment of the method of present invention are free of impurities remaining on particle surfaces and thus have smooth surfaces and increased tap density, and use thereof may enable efficient production of a multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC).
Abstract:
A method for surface treatment of nickel nanoparticles using an organic solution, including dispersing nickel nanoparticles in a reductive organic solvent to obtain homogeneity; heating the dispersion of nickel nanoparticles; and separating the solution after treatment, washing and drying. Nickel nanoparticles treated by this method are preferably substantially free of impurities remaining on particle surfaces and thus have smooth surfaces and increased tap density, and the use thereof enables efficient production of a multi-layer ceramic capacitor.
Abstract:
An interface device for an optical recording and/or reproducing apparatus for recording and playback of an optical disc, wherein the configuration of an interface circuit between a pickup that reads and writes information from/on the optical disc and a radio frequency (RF) integrated circuit (IC) for signal processing is simplified. To this end, the interface device includes a pickup, an integrated circuit, and a multiplexer. The pickup drives a plurality of laser diodes generating laser signals to record and/or reproduce information on a plurality of discs, respectively, and receives the laser signals reflected from the discs and output photodiode (PD) signals corresponding respectively to the received laser signals. The integrated circuit controls outputs of the laser diodes, and processes the PD signals from the pickup. The multiplexer is disposed in the pickup, and selects a PD signal corresponding to a particular one of the discs from among the PD signals from the pickup and interface the selected particular PD signal to the integrated circuit.
Abstract:
An example process to remove spacers from the gate of a NMOS transistor. A stress creating layer is formed over the NMOS and PMOS transistors and the substrate. In an embodiment, the spacers on gate are removed so that stress layer is closer to the channel of the device. The stress creating layer is preferably a tensile nitride layer. The stress creating layer is preferably a contact etch stop liner layer. In an embodiment, the gates, source and drain region have an silicide layer thereover before the stress creating layer is formed. The embodiment improves the performance of the NMOS transistors.
Abstract:
A music composing device includes a user interface for receiving a melody from a user, a melody generator for generating a melody file corresponding to the received melody, a harmony accompaniment generator for generating a harmony accompaniment file suitable for the melody through analysis of the melody file, and a music generator for generating a music file by synthesizing the melody file and the harmony accompaniment file.
Abstract:
A hard disk drive that redefines a notch filter of the drive. The update process may include initially disabling all notch filters and inducing a seek operation of the disk drive heads. A position error signal is read during a settling time of the seek operation and processed to determine the frequency of the signal. The frequency is selected as a resonant frequency if the error signal magnitude exceeds a threshold value. The notch filter is then redefined in accordance with the selected resonant frequency. The controller may also perform a routine to determine whether the resonant frequency is above or below a Nyquist frequency. Unlike prior art techniques, the method disclosed can obtain the resonant frequency without sweeping the excitation signal of the disk drive voice coil motor.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reducing the number of manipulations by a user during the data communication between an information device and a mobile device. The communication is performed with a data communication system that includes a mobile device; a display for displaying a position of the mobile device sensed using a provided position sensor and transferring data corresponding to the displayed position to the mobile device or data stored in the mobile device to the displayed position; and an information device for transceiving data with the display.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma display panel. In the plasma display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, a scan electrode, a sustain electrode and a scan electrode are sequentially arranged, and the resistance of the sustain electrode is lower than the resistance of the scan electrode. An embodiment of the present invention can reduce a difference between a voltage drop of the scan electrode and a voltage drop of the sustain electrode and can also reduce brightness deviation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma display panel and method of manufacturing the same. In accordance with the present invention, in a process of forming a sealant on one of an upper substrate and a lower substrate from a first point to a second point, the sealant of the first point and the sealant of the second point are separated apart from each other, and the upper substrate and the lower substrate are then coalesced. Therefore, since an area where the sealants are overlapped with each other can be reduced, the sealants can be formed to have a uniform height. It is thus possible to completely seal the upper substrate and the lower substrate.
