摘要: Provided is an X-Y table actuator, which is capable of moving and positioning a movable table (5) freely in an X-Y plane with a sufficient thrust, and can be simply manufactured at a low cost. The X-Y table actuator is constituted by stacking a stationary plate (2), an intermediate plate (4), and a movable plate (5). Between the stationary plate (2) and the intermediate plate (4), arranged is an X-direction drive means for driving the intermediate plate (4) in an X-direction with respect to the stationary plate (2). Between the intermediate plate (4) and the movable plate (5), on the other hand, there is provided a Y-direction drive means (7) for moving the movable plate (5) forward and backward in a Y-direction with respect to the intermediate plate (4). By stacking the stationary plate (2) and the movable plate (5), which are formed into a substantially channel-shape, and the intermediate plate (4), which is formed into a substantially flat-shape on each other, a housing chamber (60) for the X-direction drive means is formed between the stationary plate (2) and the intermediate plate (4), and a housing chamber (70) for the Y-direction drive means is formed between the intermediate plate (4) and the movable plate (5).

摘要: An operation monitoring apparatus monitors statuses of plural monitoring target apparatus connected to a network, by sending a connection confirmation mail, via a notification server located on the network, receiving the connection confirmation mail and an operation confirmation mail sent from each monitoring target apparatus, storing a scheduled transmission time of a next operation confirmation mail contained in the operation confirmation mail, as part of apparatus information of the monitoring target apparatus and judging, using the scheduled transmission time, whether the next operation confirmation mail has been received. The judgment is not made if a latest connection confirmation mail sent from the operation monitoring apparatus itself has not been received.

摘要: A beach cleaner for recovering waste while moving in a towed state by a traction vehicle. A grating-like portion scoops up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved and a reticulate portion that is formed behind the grating-like portion to hold waste. As the beach cleaner is moved, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and is held with the reticulate portion formed behind the grating-like portion. Sand that is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through the gaps in the grating-like portion.

摘要: A water pump for circulating the cooling water of an internal combustion engine, facilitates the formation of the water passage connecting the water pump to the cooling water passage in the cylinder block and can reduce manufacturing costs thereof. A water pump for circulating the cooling water of an internal combustion engine is connected to one end of a cam shaft for a valve system arranged in a cylinder head and is driven by the cam shaft. A delivery port of the water pump is extended near to a cooling water supply port formed in the side wall of a cylinder block and is connected to a cooling water passage in the cylinder block. The delivery poll of the water pump is extended to a position directly opposite to the cooling water supply port, and is connected to the cooling water supply port with a connection pipe. A mounting structure of a camshaft is capable of applying high speed rotation by shortening a length of push rods and also capable of facilitating maintenance such as replacement of cams. In an overhead valve type internal combustion engine, a camshaft is located and mounted in space surrounded by an upper portion of a cylinder and cylinder head.

摘要: An engine mount for a saddle-seat vehicle includes an upper engine mount operatively connected to the engine of the vehicle. The upper engine mount operatively connects the engine to the frame of the vehicle. At least one connector is provided for connecting the engine to the upper engine mount. The upper engine mount permits substantially free vertical movement of the engine relative to the frame. The upper engine mount includes an outer sleeve operatively connected to the frame. The upper engine mount further includes an elastic cushion arranged between the connector and the outer sleeve. The upper engine mount may further include an inner sleeve located within the elastic cushion for passage of the connector therethrough. The upper engine mount further includes a plate bracket operatively connected between the outer sleeve and the frame. The plate bracket may include lightening holes therein for decreasing the weight of the plate bracket while increasing flexibility of the plate bracket. The upper engine mount substantially reduces or eliminates the transmission of engine vibration to the seat and the rider of the vehicle.

摘要: There are disclosed a foamable composition which comprises (A) a vinyl chloride resin, (B) an inorganic substance containing inorganic fibers of not less that 1 .mu.m diameter, (C) a solvent having properties such that when a mixture, which is composed of 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin of average polymerization degree of 2400, 100 parts by weight of the solvent, and 6 parts by weight of dibasic lead stearate, is kneaded using a plastograph at 30 rpm while raising the temperature it exhibits a maximum torque of 4 to 25 N.m on the kneader, and (D) a decomposition-type blowing agent; and a process for preparing such; a rigid, foamed article made therefrom; and a process for preparing such article. Since the rigid, foamed article of the invention does not contain asbestos, it is not injurious to human safety and health. It has very low amounts of emitted heat, smoke, and noxious gas on burning; is deformed only a very small amount on burning; is excellent in dimensional stability and heat resistance in use at high temperatures; causes little turning to white ash even on forced burning, and is of low cost.
