Abstract: Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an open-loop power control method and device, relating to the field of wireless communications and comprising: sending a first signal/channel to a second wireless node; indicating the transmission power of said first signal/channel to the second wireless node; or sending the first signal/channel and a fourth signal/channel to the second wireless node; indicating the transmission power of said fourth signal/channel to the second wireless node; said transmission power is used by the second wireless node to calculate the downlink path loss and determine the transmission power of the uplink random-access signal. The invention is capable of ensuring, in a user-centered access context, that an appropriate transmission power is used to send an uplink random-access request, thus resisting the impact of path loss and preventing interference between uplink users.
