    摘要: A system for producing hydrocarbons is provided where the system has a plurality of sets of wells each formed of a plurality of wells; a plurality of multi-port valves mutually exclusively fluidly coupled to one or more of the plurality of wells of the plurality of sets of wells; a plurality of multiphase flow meters, where each multiphase flow meter is fluidly coupled to at least one multi-port valve; a multiphase pump fluidly coupled to the multi-port valves and the multiphase flow meters; and a processing facility containing a separator configured to separate a multiphase fluid into separate phases, where the processing facility is fluidly coupled to the multiphase pump. A data system and a data storage system may be coupled to the wells, the multi-port valves, the multiphase flow meters, the multiphase pump, and the processing facility to receive signals therefrom and to provide control thereof.

    摘要: A lubricating composition comprising a base oil and one or more additives, wherein the composition has: a sulphated ash content (according to ASTM D 874) of at least 0.4 wt % and at most 1.0 wt. %, by weight of the lubricating composition; a total base number (TBN) value (according to ASTM D 2896) of at least 4.0 mg KOH/g and at most 12 mg KOH/g; a total aromatics content contributed by the base oil in the range from 1 wt % to 30 wt %, by weight of the lubricating composition; and a sulphur content contributed by the base oil of 0.4 wt % or less, by weight of the lubricating composition; and wherein the base oil comprises a blend of (i) a first base oil which is a mineral base oil selected from an API Group I mineral base oil and an API Group II mineral base oil, and mixtures thereof, and (ii) a second base oil selected from an API Group II base oil and an API Group III base oil, preferably wherein the first base oil belongs to a different API group to that of the second base oil.

    摘要: An absorbent composition that is useful in the selective removal of hydrogen sulfide relative to carbon dioxide from gaseous mixtures that comprise both hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide and the use thereof. The absorbent composition includes an amine mixture of an amination reaction product of tert-butylamine with a polydispersed polyethylene glycol (PEG) mixture having an average molecular weight within a certain specified range of molecular weights. The amination reaction product may also comprise a first sterically hindered amine and a second sterically hindered amine. The absorbent composition, preferably, includes an organic co-solvent, such as a sulfone compound. A method is also provided for improving the operation of certain gas absorption processes by utilizing the absorbent composition.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for downhole measurement during operation of a drilling system is disclosed. The apparatus (30) comprises: a first sensor (302) configured to detect a property of a subsurface formation (200); a radiation source (304) configured to, when triggered, emit radiation to excite a part (220) of the formation; a processing unit (308) configured to trigger the radiation source if a change of the property of the formation is detected; a second sensor (306) positioned at a known distance from the radiation source and operably connected to the processing unit, the second sensor is configured to detect said excited part of the formation and is more distant from a drill bit (104) of the drilling system than the radiation source is; the processing unit is further configured to, after the excited part of the formation is detected, calculate a rate of penetration of the drill bit based on the following: a time duration between the radiation source is triggered and the excited part of formation is detected, and the distance between the radiation source and the second sensor.
