    摘要: A method of storing and delivery a drug, such as by lyophilizing and reconstituting, comprises performing both storing and delivering with the same container closure assembly. The container closure is assembled in a preparation configuration during which lyophilization occurs. After lyophilizing, the powdered drug is forced into a spiral channel in the container closure assembly by a plunger. The plunger leaves substantially no head space for the powdered drug, and the assembly is sealed thereby now being in the storage configuration. For delivery of the stored powdered drug, a syringe of diluent is introduced to the container assembly thereby changing the assembly to the delivery configuration. The spiral channel is continuous between an input end and a delivery end with the delivery end being in fluid communication with a delivery outlet of the assembly. The assembly includes a diluent flow path that forces the diluent into a spiral channel at only the input end. As the diluent is forced to flow through the spiral channel from the input end to the delivery end, it reconstitutes the powdered drug, thereby reconstituting and delivering in the same step. No separate reconstituting and priming steps are needed.

    摘要: In a pre-filled syringe having an intermediate gasket, a liquid drug is enclosed in the second chamber located on the base end side with respect to the intermediate gasket while a powdered drug is enclosed in the first chamber located on the front end side with respect to the intermediate gasket. The intermediate gasket has at least two layers including a front end layer corresponding to a wall of the first chamber and a base end layer corresponding to a wall of the second chamber, and also has a low water-absorptive layer in the layer on the base end side with respect to the front end layer. The base end layer is formed of a material having low water-absorptivity and not lowering a pH of the liquid drug.

    摘要: Provided is an easy-to-handle prefilled type nasal drip appliance which can spray medical solution surely into the nostril while holding down the production cost. A syringe barrel has a spray hole and a latching portion of a center stopper on one side, with a conduction portion of medical solution being provided at the latching portion, and has a portion protruding inward of the inner circumferential surface formed on the other end side. A plunger has a portion protruding outward of the outer circumferential surface formed substantially in the axial center wherein both protrusions engage with each other. When the plunger is moved in the spray direction of the syringe barrel to get over the plunger side protrusion and disengaged, the medical solution moves the center stopper in the spray direction to form a medical solution inflow groove between the conduction portion formed at the center stopper latching portion and the center stopper. Consequently, a medical solution storage portion and the spray hole are interconnected and the medical solution can be sprayed.
