摘要: A self-regulating gas generator that, in response to gas demand, supplies and automatically adjusts the amount of gas (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen) catalytically generated in a chemical supply chamber from an appropriate chemical supply, such as a chemical solution, gas dissolved in liquid, or mixture. In some embodiments, the gas generator may employ a piston, rotating rod, or other element(s) to expose the chemical supply to the catalyst in controlled amounts. In another embodiment, the self-regulating gas generator uses bang-bang control, with the element(s) exposing a catalyst, contained within the chemical supply chamber, to the chemical supply in ON and OFF states according to a self-adjusting duty cycle, thereby generating and outputting the gas in an orientation-independent manner. The gas generator may be used to provide gas for various gas consuming devices, such as a fuel cell, torch, or oxygen respiratory devices.

摘要: Apparatus and method for managing an oxygen generating system configured for supplying a sustained flow of oxygen, which may include a control box. The control box may include an oil-less air compressor configured to pump the oxygen to an oxygen storage tank from at least two banks of at least one oxygen generator. The control box may include or be connected to a pressure sensor associated with the oxygen storage tank. The control box may further include one or more controller devices configured to control at least two circuits for providing power to the at least two banks of at least one oxygen generator. The one or more controller devices may be configured to switch on or off each bank of oxygen generators in response to particular threshold pressures associated with the storage tank. The one or more controller devices may also be configured to control the oil-less air compressor.

摘要: A gas separation device having a simple structure and reducing the cost incurred in gas separation. The gas separation device (100) includes an adsorption tower (110) having at least one part thereof exposed to an atmosphere at a higher or lower temperature than normal temperature, a mixed gas feed unit (120), an adsorbent (130) provided inside the adsorption tower to adsorb a matter contained in a mixed gas upon contact with the mixed gas in a prescribed pressure and temperature environment, and separate the matter from the mixed gas, a separated gas discharge unit (140) that discharges a separated gas from the adsorption tower, and an adsorbed gas discharge unit (150) that reduces the pressure inside the adsorption tower and discharges from the adsorption tower the adsorption gas which is adsorbed by the adsorption agent. Heat reserving elements (160) are arranged in the adsorption tower at positions upstream and downstream of the adsorption agent in the mixed gas supply direction respectively such that the mixed gas, separated gas, and adsorbed gas flow through the heat reserving elements.

摘要: A chemical oxygen generator includes multiple parallel sequentially connected chemical core sections that extend the duration of operation of the chemical oxygen generator. An end of a first core section is contiguous with a chemical core high reactivity section, and a thermal insulation layer is disposed between an end of a second core section and the chemical core ignition plate, as well as between the bodies of the first and second core sections. A chemical core transition section is disposed between the other end of the first core section and the second core section, to insure that the reaction front propagates properly.
