    摘要: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for filtering sewage and wastewater. The filtering apparatus has a vertical structure including a filtering belt comprising a filter bag or a filter mesh that can filter out fine impurities. For this, the filtering apparatus includes a drive motor that receives power to drive the apparatus, an upper drive drum that is operated by the drive motor, a lower rotating drum that is interlocked with the upper drive drum, and a filtering belt that is wound and rotated around the upper drive drum and the lower rotating drum. The filtering apparatus cannot only filter out fine impurities less than from 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm but also separate earth and sand, unlike conventional filtering apparatuses that cannot conduct them. Furthermore, because the filtering apparatus can be placed upright or inclined at a predetermined angle, it can be used in a water inlet passage that is 4 m to 5 m underground, and impurities filtered out from water can be transferred to a height higher than 10 m above ground.

The apparatus includes a movable, permeable membrane having opposing first and second sides. A ‘loaded belt portion’ of the second side is configured to receive the slurry. A permeable membrane support system is configured to provide movable support for the loaded belt portion and includes a transport deck located in contact with the first side of the permeable membrane below the loaded belt portion. The liquid removal apparatus has a housing with a low-pressure chamber in sealing contact with the first side of the permeable membrane. A pressure conditioning system applies a differential pressure via the housing to generate a lower pressure on the first filter belt side than on the second side. The transport deck is located within the low pressure chamber.

    摘要: A filter apparatus includes a endless filter belt loop disposed in an interior space within a tank which receives liquid to be filtered. The filter belt has a series of closely spaced parallel guide-flight bars attached which are successively engaged by an extendible element on a pivot plate which is periodically oscillated to under the filter belt. The bars are received in guide spaces to hold the filter belt in position over a filter support having openings allowing filtering flow thererthrough. Collapsible sealed hoses partially filled with liquid are used as edge seals extending along the guide spaces over side edges of the filter belt and are expanded by engagement of an upper end of each of the hoses with a squeeze member on the pivot plate. The squeeze members are moved off the hoses when the pivot plate is oscillated to advance the filter belt during indexing to release the sealing pressure and allow filter belt indexing movement. The pivot plate oscillation also operates a beater bar to guide the belt to dislodge solids from the belt. In a vacuum version, the filter belt support is provided by molded plastic support pieces assembled over a solid curving support plate in the tank.

    摘要: A waste water filter has a perforated conveyor made up of a plurality of segments. Each of the segments has a shelf portion to lift trapped filtered material. Drive chains on opposite sides of the conveyor rotate the conveyor in an oblong loop. End plates on the ends of each segment have leading and trailing edges that extend at an acute angle relative to one another. Each of the end plates is rigidly mounted to a link of one of the chains. A socket mounted on a first edge of each of the segments engages a rod mounted on a second edge of an adjacent segment. Seal plates are located between the chains and the end plates. Each of the seal plates is rigidly mounted to one of the end plates and has an overlapping portion that extends alongside in sliding contact with an adjacent one of the end plates.

    摘要: Apparatus and process for separating components of a treatment mixture from a waste treatment system comprises feeding the treatment mixture to an endless filtering belt. The filtering belt has a mesh size selected to permit liquid components of the mixture to filter down through the belt while retaining particulate components thereon. The belt is moved by a drive system generally in a circuit between upstream and downstream ends of the apparatus as liquid components are separated from the mixture by filtering through the filtering belt. Unfiltered mixture is passed beneath a press disposed in opposed relation with the belt generally between the upstream and downstream ends of the apparatus. The press is capable of applying a squeezing pressure against the mixture to squeeze the mixture between the press and the filtering belt to separate water and liquified fatty components from the mixture for filtering through the belt. The press is adapted for movement toward and away from the filtering belt to allow the mixture to pass downstream of the press substantially without particulate components of the mixture being mashed into and entrained in the filtering belt by the squeezing pressure of the press.

    摘要: Continuously operating filtering devices are voluminous when accommodated in a casing. The casing serves to maintain a determined pressure around the filter, for instance by use of released gases. It is the ojective of the present invention to keep the volume as small as possible. This is achieved by using plastic material for the carrier belt. Up to the present, rubber carrier belts have been used. These however impose limitations on the diameter of the guide rollers. A limitation of the roller diameter to 25% in comparison to rubber carrier belts is possible with the use of plastic. In addition, plastic has a better resistance to aggressive substances.
